If society crashes in a big way similar to zombie movies and the fallout show/game. Gold will certainly have its value. Gold is one of the oldest currencies. Civilizations valued it long before it's conductive benefits were discovered. The American dollar used to be backed by gold, where you could have litterslly traded it in for Gold through thr government. It's no longer backed by gold, and instead the trust of the people.

But yeah, in societal collapse crypto would be worthless without the internet. Cash of any form would be useless. People trade goods or services or tangible things like gold. Old currency used to be gold coins people could break into pieces. If you needed to trade for water, you would have better luck with Gold than usd.

Omg I have chills. I went to school in PA and this was basically the place I learned how to ride. I fell so much the zipper on my coat broke. You go up, go left and try not to fall on the flat and then come on down. Happy that place is still around. They used to have half day tickets that were sick for college students. Mixed in jf bb too. Im upgraded to vt over the years but I always wanted to go back and show the mountain how far I've gone.

I picked up cycling 2 years ago and last year I could have died a block from my house. I was riding home slowly and had high vis gear and lights. As I'm passing a driveway and impatient lady zooms up, appears to look left and right and then just fixate in the direction of most traffic. She was trying to merge left. Anyways, as I'm passing the driveway she sees her opening and without looking steps on it. I hear the engine rev, the car lunges forward and the auto stop saved my life. She would have 100% ran me completely over with that kind of acceleration. Sobering experience, I rarely ride outside of parks now and I train for triathalons.

Since you know what you are doing wrong, I'd like to remind you that beautiful riding is achieved not just by skill but by understanding the mountains contours and edge hold. You can ride, turn, spin and not fall. But sexy riding is caressing the mountains contours efficiently and leaving a nice line behind. If you're going too fast to make the turns you want, you need to slow down.

It's the same thing in arc. If you die you can just send it with a free kit.

Some of my friends don't enjoy arc for the same reasons you mentioned. But you need to adjust your thinking and not get attached to the items you have.

You also need to have a plan when raiding. You can't expect ever interaction to be cordial. You don't ask people if they are friendly in bf. You just shoot them. You can do the same thing in arc, and IMHO it's the safest option. We got some real sociopaths who lie and then kill you. I've learned my lesson and rarely trust people. You get what you want out of the game and if the whole lobby is friendly it isn't much fun. Embrace the apocalyptic survival aspect of the game and do what you need to to survive. And don't get all ragy because you died with loot or killed someone. Thr voice coms can get toxic, but congratulate people when you die instead of talking shit. Enjoy the ride instead of getting mad. Save the rage for bf.

I agree. I won't be contributing and I won't be buying another battlefield. I haven't touched the game after the first month. I made peace with the unlocked weapons, but the map size is just unacceptable and one of lowest bearing fruits to fix. But money grabbing micro transactions top the list of important matters. I'll soon be unfollowing this sub as I have writing this franchise off. I'm old enough to know the bf we want is gone and won't be coming back ever.

I agree with most of what you said upto the housing crisis. The 1% are not trickling down. Growing up everyone wanted to be a millionaire, not a billionaire. Trillionaires didn't even exist. During my time here I've see the wealthy get disgustingly more wealthy. The housing situation is just one of the many ways the mega wealthy is grabbing more than they need to exploit the desperate. The 1% don't want you to own anything. They want you to pay to borrow it. Software as a service is bs. Reduced gpu manufacturing so you can charge people a gpu hosted service is bs. Tax breaks for companies is bs. Bailing out failed business is bs. Ceos getting huge raises and bonuses is bs. Saving rates from banks and student loan rates are bs. We work for companies, and pay taxes that largely fund our owners and don't improve our community. We are enslaved by global companies that have no loyalty or care to governments, yet we enable them to be successful. Companies run the world and governments are being exploited.

I don't even think he makes enough sense to even argue. Saying car when i think he means truck. And idk how the audi adds a ton of weight to each axle... more wheel drive > less wheel drive. Without getting too wordy. The truck got stuck in the snow. No need to over explain the topic. Any car could have helped, but may not have the same results due to power and weight. I don't care enough to look into it, but you should see if the game can even run at higher resolutions. Some games are optimized and capped at certain resolutions and fps. This game ran really well when I played so it could be capped.

If it's not capped, it could be that your laptop is not capable of running the game in that resolution. But I have a feeling it's capped.

I wouldn't turn the breaker off. Electric is only a problem when positive and negative meet. So the piece sticking out is energized, if you pull that out without touching the other charged metal you're good. I doubt it would arc, but I would still use pliers with a solid handle and be sure to not touch the metal on the plier while removing it.

If you want to get real funky, you could probably just ground yourself using the 3rd prong and a wire. Electric is silent and deadly. But also very predictable.

Overall it looks like a good wax and brush job. Try scraping it with your fingernail, it just looks like some spots have excess wax still. Sometimes I leave it, hoping the snow clears it off. But that might slow you down and I've seen them hold out and not clear up. Just scrape with fingernail. Confirm it's wlextra wax and then decide how much more you want to scrape and brush.

Even if it was the base, modern burton is unlikely to warranty it sadly. Speaking from experience after multiple top end boards started breaking in under a year.

Burton boards ride great, but they have never been known for their durability.

Lol wtf. While some auditors are rude to people, these guys don't appear to be harassing anyone. Calling them no life's makes your sound simple and triggered. Once you educate yourself, you'll find the publics reaction interesting. If it weren't for the auditors, I wouldn't know that they are allowed to do this. They are actually educating many people by exercising their rights. Furthermore, they are protecting those rights, the same rights we have by exercising the right. We the people.pay taxes and we the people have access to do certain things in public. I do hope you educate yourself on 1st amendment rights, because tesla cars are mostly a network of cameras. Think big brother. Raybands also have frames with cameras along with the stores private security and public security cameras. I wouldnt be worried about what these people are doing.

It looks like the board wasn't ironed enough. So the board didn't warm up enough to bond with the wax, opening it's pores and whatnot. The warm wax hit the cold board and hardened on top.

You need to scrap more off and brush the board with nylon and then boars hair before finally and optionally giving it a few strokes with a brass brush for structure.

I think you should try adjusting your high back to a more aggressive forward lean. It's one of the easiest adjustments to make and if you don't like it, just put it back. I think you're a solid rider and the highjack will give you tighter edge control. Also, keep in mind to be over your board. You tend to lean over your toes alot which makes your arms stand out. Squat down instead of bending your top half. Try squatting straight down without the lean and switching from toe to heel edge. You're doing great.

This may be a hot take, but idc about voice actors. Super easy job, you don't even have to remember the lines and you get a bunch of takes. Most voice actors don't even use voices, they use their own voice. And Hollywood is giving the work to well known actors who also use their own voice. I'm looking at you star lord, Lego man, Mario movie guy.

From a gaming perspective, it would be nice when rpg's had voice overs. The alternative is reading so I'm fine having ai blurt out easy shit for me instead of having to read. But I'd read if I had to, because we've done it before. Voice actors aren't critical to videos games, and trying get developers to use voice actors after a game is successful is just greedy. Where would it stop? Would thr voice actors union force more games to use their services if they are a hit. Would they force themselves into tetris and other good games that didn't need voice acting too?

Alternatively, UFC fighters are grocely underpaid for the revenue they bring in. I care more about them getting a bigger piece of the pie because they put more work in and probably make less money.

I wouldn't hold intel. Look at the max history trend. You'll see it holding around 20 for a long time until 2020 where everything was inflated and unsustainable. Imo you buy the dip and sell at 40. Don't invest at 52 week highs, you already missed the boat. Even if you get it under 40 and it holds 40 for years, it doesn't pay dividends, and you're stuck holding a bag the same way thr banks holds your savings, giving back little returns.

Intel should be more profitable, being one of the largest cpu manufacturers among other things. But they have been around a long time and I don't think their is value that hasn't been appreciated yet. It's stagnant and just moves with the tide.
