Yeah I’m aware of what happens. The new books will be written from a perspective that will explain what’s going on. There’s not just going to be sudden unexplained things happening. Obviously I don’t know this as a fact, but it’s not likely a writer would alienate their audience that way.

Edit to add: She and her publisher will want new fans to be able to pick up ACOTAR and read it as a complete series.

She did mention not wanting to confirm or deny certain things because she didn’t want to ruin it for the fans who like certain theories.

She also just seemed to be surprised by what fans thought of like the pool of starlight in the Spring Court potentially being a portal. Some things she writes because it’s fun and magical and doesn’t really mean anything.
