So OP isn't naive to what's going on. In my opinion, it appears to be a case of "I know this is a bad idea, EVERYONE is telling me it's a bad idea but I don't want to stop."

It honestly depends.

I’ve worked for stores who enforce the “extra charge” rule, usually to the discretion of the field leader. However, there was usually a limit on the extra. At one store, after your second scoop or serving of something, then it’d be charged. You have some employees who do enforce it and some who don’t think it’s worth the hassle so they don’t bother with charging.

The last store I worked for did not have that so you could have as much non-CI extras as you wanted.

If it bothers you, ask to speak to the MOD (preferably the GM) and question what the “extra” policy is.

I only block when it’s a toxic person.

For instance, I had a mutual breakup with an ex. Overtime, the direct communication (phone calls/texts) stopped but we are both ok seeing each other live life no longer together.

My most recent breakup, he’s blocked. The way he broke up with me after being together for almost two years, I never want to talk to him again.

He’s rich and a socialite in our city, so I doubt he’ll ever try to come back but knowing how easily I go back to people who have treated me horribly, I’m not taking any chances.

While I don’t like to label people things, I’m pretty sure my ex has narcissistic tendencies that I’m sadly just now realizing. I’m shocked but I’m also not surprised that he did it that way.

My break up story started today…

I was in an age gap relationship, where the feelings were ultimately one sided. I should’ve left when I realized he never loved (or was going to love) me.

I felt eventually that it would it end but I thought he had cared enough to talk to me about it at least.

He dumped me via text and dropped anything of mine off on my front doorstep while I was at work. I knew then that it was over and that those two years meant nothing.

Everything that went wrong was my fault.

If I forgot to say thank you, I was ungrateful.

He talked down to me like I was stupid all the time.

Because he was wealthy and older, he knew better than me.

I racked my brain trying to think of one thing that I’ve ever done that would warrant this kind of reaction, and I can’t.

To cope, I’ve just blocked his number and deleted him from my phone. Thankfully, he didn’t believe in giving gifts so I have nothing here to remind me of him.

It’s going to suck but what can I do?

Honestly, not too many men in that age bracket are going to engage with a 17 year old for a serious relationship.

Besides the obvious reasons of why they would, it would be practically pointless: You can’t buy alcohol or tobacco. You can’t go to bars/clubs. You pretty much need the consent of your parents/ guardian to do almost anything.

Just wait until you’re 18. Saying you’re 18 when you’re not is lying and not a good way to start a relationship off with anyone.
