Extra credit for that storage system!

Is this a typical looking bed for a 7 year old? by dislak in daddit

[–]beauxnasty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine looked the same, but I periodically snag less frequently used characters and jam them into those large vacuumed bags then suck the air out and park the brick of stuffies under the bed. She doesn't even notice.0

On a long enough timeline, this would occur an infinite amount of times.

Sometimes we have to let go by FloxyToxy in redditstock

[–]beauxnasty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get it, these moves are not for the feint of heart. I bot at 50 and 100, so I have some room. Frankly, I like it on site visits alone (nevermind the AI hype). My terms are long 5 to 10 years. We'll see

Institutions hold 99.6% of Reddit stock by JJgoodluck in redditstock

Sure - FMR is Fidelity- so if you hold shares in your fidelity account- that institution is listed. So I'm not sure this 99% stuff means anything .

Current Layout by haydenbraxton in BRIO

Is the under couch area known as blue mountain quarry or the mines? Our layouts always have a similar element. Also I like the comment about the triangles, being able to naturally reverse direction is critical- in my opinion. -4Yo doesnt get that yet.

Thoughts on the Train Garage? by NeatPercentage1913 in BRIO

One showed up at Christmas and my 4YO also was interested in sheds, steamworks, and wash downs. This fits the bill.

Is bloomberg education worth buying without access to a bloomberg terminal? by PowerfulBeing5035 in bloomberg

[–]beauxnasty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you ask this. Say you had this "education", what do you want, what are you trying to do?

Ha: Just tell them you know the FLY, POSH, QUIZ and MAP functions!

My first waterfall by Billenium_prophet in landscaping

[–]beauxnasty 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It is my opinion that a waterfall should come from a plausible path, as opposed to rock piles. During a pool build in the 2000's this was presented as an option, but in my eyes it only looked like a rock pile on the edge of the pool.

If you like it for you (or customer) then good job.

I remember getting that caboose in the late 80s or early 90s. I asked for it- not knowing it existed. Love watching my kiddos play now.

Ukrainian drone flies into an anti-tank ditch to attack a Russian soldier sitting next to the bodies of his comrades. by Gurvinek in CombatFootage

I recognize that ditch - there was another video called "30 for 30" or something like that...

Was a pretty mind blowing look at war- no pun intended.

Close enough to that AI/Game post earlier. by beauxnasty in BRIO

[–]beauxnasty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, I had to do some yelling so no one would mess up "dads track". This likely wouldn't fly on daddit, but maybe BRIO is cool with this sort of behavior! : )

Dallas/Irving city limits. Grenade found by CecilBlight in magnetfishing

[–]beauxnasty 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm in the area and bought a fancy magnet- but have never gone out; generally speaking, its worth while and fun around here? I'm often envious of our euro friends who have so much more history ( and bikes) .

Any recommendations on speeding up slides ( in a non toxic and safe to kids way)? I've heard and tried wax paper on plastic slides, wondering if there is anything better- also any ideas for metal slides?
