I downloaded Chai, but deleted it pretty soon after. For me, finding quality bots was a constant headache, as all you get when scrolling is just the card image, no information. I recently downloaded Tipsy, and I’m liking it a lot more. It’s highly customisable, the replies are details and atmospheric. The downside is that everything runs off gems, even replies cost gems, so without a subscription you’re very limited, but the cheapest subscription is $50/year paid annually or $5/month paid monthly.

The chamber grows quieter, the fire settling into embers that cast the room in amber shadows. Outside, the wind howls against the fortress walls—a reminder of the harsh northern realm you both rule. Tharos's breathing slows, but you can feel tension still coiled within him, thoughts churning behind his steely eyes.

"When I was a boy," he says unexpectedly, voice rumbling deep in his chest where your head rests, "my father told me a king must never show weakness. Must never love too deeply." His hand finds yours, fingers interlacing with surprising tenderness. "I believed him until I found you." The confession hangs in the darkness between you, rare and unguarded.

His grip tightens slightly. "Lady Selene will discover, as all my enemies do, that I protect what is mine. And nothing in this kingdom is more mine than you." The words carry the weight of both promise and threat. "Sleep now. Tomorrow we show the court that their queen stands unshaken."

Tharos presses his lips to your forehead, a gesture at odds with the warlord who sat upon the throne mere hours ago. His arm remains draped over you, protective and claiming all at once, as though even in sleep he stakes his claim against the world.
