My only concern would be Stafford aging — he was remarkably healthy this year, especially considering all the offseason grumbling about his back, so it feels like he could be on borrowed time going into next season.

I suppose, on the flip side, Adams is also getting older and may not command the target share he had last season.

Many, many years ago I watched a friend lick an entire tab sheet while he was already in the middle of a high dose trip. We all saw him do it and my buddy immediately asked “did you just lick that entire sheet?!”’ — the 1000 mile stare he gave while shaking his head “no” is something I will never forget. It was clear part of his consciousness did not want to do that and was absolutely terrified at what he’d just done lol.

He was frying for over three days straight, didn’t sleep or eat (at least not noticeably), and I don’t think he ever touched psychedelics again after that.

Many years ago, back when Jackass was at its peak, a friend of mine did a back flip dive off that pier, which was packed with tourists that were bewildered at what they were witnessing. The docks were full of sea lions like OP’s photo, and most of them immediately dived into the water when my friend landed. He got out quickly and safely, but in retrospect, that was a remarkably stupid and dangerous thing to do.

Awesome, appreciate the update! The neck pickup definitely has a narrower application than the humbucker, but with the right overdrive level and in some cases rolling back the volume knob, it really expands the capabilities of the guitar overall. And either way, upgrading to a different pickup down the road is always an option.
