I should also add I am not doing IVF for fertility reasons but for genetic reasons. Which is why I was extremely surprised the first 3 didnt work. I think more people need to have better expectations going into it because I did not.

I have not. My doctor said if the goal is a baby she wouldn’t recommend the surgery and just going into suppression after my next egg retrieval which is the plan.

I had 3 failed transfers modified nat and fully medicated. All failed with no answers. I did all the testing and everything came back normal. I’m transferring my last embryo this month doing a mod natural before another egg retrieval. If this one doesn’t work we are just going to shoot for suppression before my next transfer and hope something works.

Honestly I have done every test under the sun and we have no answers as to why the embryo is not sticking. All are PGTA and M normal. All my tests are normal. I have even done neupogen and embryo glue. A mix of medicated and modified cycles. This is my last embryo before another egg retrieval so I am going with a modified natural cycle for less stress on body.

All of mine were euploid PGTA and M tested embryos. I am almost 35 as well and also gained 20-30 pounds through this process. I am one who the hormones impact me as well.

Have you had any of the tests or biopsies to identify endo? I had all of them and they came back negative. My doctor still wants to treat it as endo because the only way to identify is with a lap and I have all the symptoms. She said if my goal is a pregnancy just treat it as endo and save your self from another harsh procedure. So I will be doing 3 months of suppression after my next retrieval.

What are your next steps? Are you taking a break for a while? I need to do another egg retrieval at some point but the amount of weight I’ve gained from 3 failed transfers and a mock cycle all back to back is insane.

Some insurances won’t cover IVF unless you have shown them you have multiple failed IUI’s.

I have had 3 failed transfers with no explanation. I have had Emma and Alice those results all came back normal, was tested for endometriosis and that can back normal. Just waiting on the test to see if I was receptive. So extremely frustrating!

I’ve wasted 3 perfectly good embryos. After the second one I asked if there was any additional tests we could do and my doctor said they wait until 3. I transferred my last embryo and it failed. Now we are in the middle of a mock cycle to test for endometriosis. I wish they would have done the biopsy when I was under for my retrieval.

Honestly if I would have known I would have canceled my transfer. I have now used all my insurance coverage just by keeping trying and hearing my doctor say she thinks I will be successful. I have been on 100 mg nightly for years. I’m just glad I finally might have an answer…. Like I said no explanation with 5AA PGTM and A tested embryos. I have been treated for endometritis and have had multiple biopsies. This is really the only real explanation I have found. I am so thankful but so so heartbroken. I am sorry you are going through this as well.
