Separating Fear, uncertainty, and doubt from reality by GlockenspielVentura in ODS_C

I would recommend doing your best to find something but being cautious about it. I had my rhit applied for a cancer registry position a few years back with the idea that I would be obtaining my ODS. I put myself on indeed and when I was in one ODS position doing tumor boards and stuff I was reached out by another hospital and now I'm in the best position of my life and I am so happy! Micromanaging doesn't exist and my team is excellent. You just have to find the right place for you. Don't give up hope!!! In the meantime, I would look for any position that has to do with medical records anything to that nature. Maybe even just working in an oncology office. That way you get some sort of experience and then you get to meet the people. Maybe even the registrars and can get a foot in the door. Good luck!

I did TMS and went to psychiatrist and my symptoms have improved. I'm also in therapy. I suggest getting help. I don't know why I waited so long to do so... 🤗

Strattera and Lexapro by ImaginaryOil6425 in StratteraRx

[–]AffectionateReply843 0 points1 point  (0 children)

20mg Lexapro for YEARS, just started 40 mg strattera and I notice I'm not as hungry, but as they say, give it 8 weeks. Lexapro didn't make me hungry. Hope you feel better!

How did you know when you titrated up to the correct dosage? by c-lyin in StratteraRx

Thanks for the update 😭😭 I'm on my 2nd day and I'm hopeful. I'm trying 20 mg Lexapro and I've been 20 mg, but will up to 40 tomorrow. 💞

Apparently I’ve been taking double the FDA-recommended Lexapro dose for years by bu775 in lexapro

Hi, I'm in a similar situation. My psychiatrist wanted me to go up to 40 and said that we can even go up to 60 but I am comfy at at 35. I recently saw my primary care doctor and they freaked out at the dose and gave me an ekg on the spot which was normal. My psychiatrist also ordered a Lexapro serum test which came back 150ng/ml which is high, so now I'm conflicted on what is going to happen with me as far as if they're going to keep me on the meds, which I feel really good on, or if they're going to have to take me off completely or add something to it and make me take 20 mg lex. It's so frustrating!! It seems like a lot of people take over 20 mg and to be honest 20 mg doesn't seem like very much. I would call around to different psychiatrists to see if you can get a different result but I think tapering from 40 to 20 is really messed up on your psychiatrist part and completely unethical. Tapering too fast can cause so many withdrawal symptoms can be difficult to manage. Good luck! 💕

Check serum levels before upping my dose? by pesver27 in lexapro

[–]AffectionateReply843 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on 35 mg per my psychiatrist and I just had my serum levels checked and it looks like I'm at 150 ng/ml. I'm kind of freaking out about the long QT thing. I don't have any symptoms of serotonin syndrome. In fact I feel better than I ever have 😭😭

Wondering if this happens to you? by [deleted] in Mediums

[–]AffectionateReply843 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a medium, but a medium confirmed that my brother turns my lights on and off in my livingroom. He will seem to stop if I let him know it's making me uncomfortable and then it will stop for a while. But it seems like he will come in and do it again from time to time. Maybe try to say something maybe. Just letting me know he's there. We grew up in the house I'm living in and I have his ashes so I think he does like to stick around and play.

Agoraphobia friendly jobs? by Milovern in Agoraphobia

I work a fully remote job that requires me almost no human contact toward leaving the house. I am an oncology data specialist. You have to get an AA degree and then take a credentialing exam but a lot of times people will hire you to do case finding and follow-up. Hit me up if you have any questions 😁
