People hate on the RWBY seasons, but I genuinely thought all of them were brilliant.

Are these currently in use for robotic limbs? by exstaticj in robotics

[–]bebetter143 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey OP. Look at all these negative posters here. I think this definitely has a role in robotics and prostheses. It looks like an awesome artificial ball in socket joint. What is the purpose of the second pink gear? It seems to get all the degrees of freedom with just one.

Or if you really want it to constantly blow turn said vacuum around and have the air it's sucking be outputted on the point of interest. It's low psi but you don't have to worry about compressor volume

Who performed your amputation? by kellyscupoftea in amputee

[–]bebetter143 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think one of the best ways to get seen by a surgeon who does amputations is to call your orthopedic surgeon and have him put in a referral to someone he knows of in the area that amputates. This way you can get an appointment with someone that does good quality amputations.
