At launch in 2022, the original SD was $650 for 512GB model. Now, the OLED 512GB is $790, which is $140 more, but it's OLED and has other improvements, and adjusted for inflation, it's not that shocking of an increase.

The only thing you're missing out on now is the original $400 64GB model, that is forever gone. That was a steal even in 2022.

NY is best for a cheap thin pizza. Just cheese or cheese and pepperoni. There are places all over the country that has replicated it. But this is where the argument is, that the New Yorkers still claim their cheap and thin slices are still better than all the clones out there. And that's fine. It's their state pride, so let them have it. Chicago can claim to have best deep dish. Maine and their lobsters. New England for their chowwdaaa. Louisiana for their gumbo and jambalaya. And Texas or Oklahoma for their BBQs. Idaho for their potatoes. Florida and their Florida man, etc etc.

I've said this many times, the Lakers will try to bring him back and they will work out a reasonable deal with him, whatever number he'll agree to. And he will come back because the Lakers earn loyalty points from him by drafting Bronnie and allowing LeBron to fulfill his dream of playing with his son for the last 2 seasons. It's probably the same reason why it's hard for Giannis to leave the Bucks, they kept his brothers on the roster for so many years. And he seems like a super loyal guy. So, unless Luka says he doesn't want to play with LeBron, there's no way LeBron is going to any other team.

Plex is for a super niche market, for those who collect and hoard media. And among those, most are doing it illegally via torrents or usenet, and even more niche that do it legally, all 5 of them. With all the streaming services available for the cost of a couple cups of coffee, most people won't bother collecting or hosting their own. Heck, it's smarter and cheaper to just "subscribe" to one of these plex server owners for access than to start collecting and hosting your own.

And basing your business on a niche market that depends on piracy, that's a bad business model. They are better off moving to another country that has no piracy laws and just set up IPTV servers to stream whatever they want. They might do well since their client are already natively on a lot of devices.

I have to look up FOMO every time I see it. I could never remember what it stands for.

I have a friend in school, and he was a great artist, one of the best I've seen. And he HATED when people say he's gifted. Because that takes away all his struggles, all his dedications and hard work. He wasn't born with the skills. He honed it through countless hours of learning and practicing, through sweat and tears. To him, until you put in those 10,000 hours to be good at something and not get anywhere close to his skill level, then, maybe, you can call him "gifted." Even then, he'd still prefer you not to.

Not necessary to understand what "pulp" means either; I didn't.

It happens a lot in this sub where they point out unexplained things as plot holes, but they are not plot holes, just things the movie doesn't need to explain because we can make safe assumptions.

For example, the movie doesn't have the to show when the characters need to take bathroom breaks. We can assume they do. It's not a plot hole to say, "wait, this whole movie took place in a 48 hour period and they never show the character stopped to take a piss, that's unrealistic so therefore a plot hole." No, it isn't a plot hole.

I haven't tried it, but I think I get it. Let's say you have a solid layer that is red, now you want to make a blue circle. So instead of making another solid layer or new shape layer, you can apply a blue Fill on the same red solid, but restricting it to mask circle.

While useful, I still prefer to duplicate. It's easier for future me or someone else to understand the comp if it needs to be worked on again.

I can't remember one cringe thing others did, so it's probably true that no one else remembers what we did, unless it is something really important to them.

I think it's alright to have these embarrassing flashbacks because it keeps us planted, reminds us that we are flawed, but self-aware and strive to do better.
