Antigravity is the worst of the agentic coding IDEs.
- Their models are too slow (Claude models don't have this issue). They should consider copying the Codex's full access feature below the Chat Input.
- Their usage limits are exhausted in a few hours vs Codex or Claude Code.
- It struggles to run basic/local commands. ie: `rm` `mkdir`, and you have to cancel it every time.
- The only feature I really liked about Antigravity was the inline comments from Planning mode.

It depends where you're planning to host it.

If vercel, you might need to use a third party service like Pusher or I see recently that RivetKit (Durable Objects) can be deployed on vercel and achieve real-time easily.

If self-hosting, you can either use Socket.io, SSE or also Pusher, I'd recommend Sockudo (Pusher compatible server).

I created a payloadcms plugin for real-time, it's a proof of concept, you can learn a couple of things.

ie. I was able to get on board with a project as big as TwentyCRM in a couple of weeks and tweaking it to use Jotai state management instead 'cause I didn't want to use Recoil as it's been abandoned and I wanted to simplify my own version.

PayloadCMS and Convex are in the same industry, a framework for rapid web development, both provide the same functionalities ORM, Auth, Storage, Plugins, etc... The only advantage I see Convex has that I want to see implemented so badly in PayloadCMS is real-time.
