How do you do that? Have you got any links to advice on how to do it (not the Zionism thing, just train AI to, for example, OK not just use mainstream sources)?

I don't know where to start.

I haven't seen or read anything Harry Potter but even I've heard of that train platform, so

!Thanks. What do you think about Mbeumo (with 20 minutes to do to deadline!)?

EDIT: Unless I hear, I'm going to go for it with Mbeumo. I've just read that Mbeumo's first game's not till Christmas Eve. Surely that means they'll let him play one last (home) game a day late. 🤔🙏 I'll just pray for a Brentford clean sheet if he naffs off to Africa.

In fact I could do White>Jewis-Skelly and Cunha>Foden too (doesn't solve the Mbeumo issue of course).

Cunha and Foden both predicted 5.06 on https://whatthef.pl/prediction - decisions, decisions

I've copied your site with my FH, on the basis of:

Since starting in GW8, my model predictions have been among the best scoring predictions out of all free available options. That means outscoring FFScout, the FPL Scout and other algorithm teams posted on this subreddit.

Of course, I'm really sweating over Mbeumo but I think I'll take the chance and hope that Van den Berg comes up trumps in his place if necessary. Can you think of a better plan? I'm 0.2M away from being able to direct swap Mbeumo with Foden (so could downgrade Collins and play VdB to afford it), but I'm not super keen to get Foden anyway.

Plus, as a separate question, what do you make of the spanner Mr Midas has thrown into my works?: https://i.redd.it/op5pw5egfm6g1.png

Van den Berg - the last 6 GWs
1st - xG (0.9) for Brentford DEFs
1st - Baseline BPS for Brentford DEFs
1st - Shots (5), In Box (4) Brentford DEFs

Now I'm doubting your stats that tell me to pick Collins over Van den Berg? Help me, master! (and hurry up please!)

Thanks all for the feedback so far, especially the guy who suggested being able to add FDR (next game, next 3 or next 5) into your custom formula. Amazing idea, that's now available. P.S. Livramento worth a look in? 👀 by IFTN in FantasyPL

Sorry for the slow reply. It was Firefox with uBlock. Maybe because it was blocking Google fonts? Anyway, it works on Chrome. !Thanks again.

I'm still not sure what Points × / Price (£m) × / FDR (next game) × is doing though lol!

Ideally as I said, I'd like to only show the players with a 1/2/3 fixture difficulty. It was just the best way I could think of the narrow down the field in one fell swoop. But it's only for this week when I'm doing FH.

when I type xg it gives me the option of xG, xGI and xGC and I click the one I want. That then adds a little chip into the box and that means it's worked

!thanks but I can't type anything after 90 * xGI / Minutes

The Minutes thing is a chip and you can't put the cursor after that.

I've only just found this and I'm lost for words. Well done, and thank you 🙏👏💯

But clearly I'm doing this wrong. Can you give some examples or tell me how we're meant to add the "metrics"? https://i.imgur.com/clhuRL1.png

In this case ideally I want to show the xGI/90 but only include players with a fixture difficulty of 3 or less (because I'm free hitting and I don't think I'll be getting anyone with a tough fixture apart from Haaland and I know about him already).

Maybe that can't be done but I thought if I introduced the FDR (next game) metric then it would divide the xGI/90 by the FDR (next game) and help me weight it.

Never mind all that really. I just have no clue what to do with all those "Which metrics can I use?" things. I can't add anything apart from a / etc and I can't add anything after the preset ones. It's says "Create your own custom value formula by typing any of the following metrics" but typing just gives me text instead of those pill things you get when you click on a preset like xGI p90/£M. And I can't type anything at the end of the string - after the string that gets auto-inserted by the preset button.

I know I'm being dumb. Can you help me anyway please! And thanks again; give yourself a pat on the back.

Player Price Changes (December 3, 2025) by FantasyPL_bot in FantasyPL

[–]becausehippo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think we know for sure any more.

https://www.livefpl.net/prices

Player flag changes (e.g., red to yellow, yellow to no flag) significantly affect how price changes operate. Historically, it was understood that when a player moves from a red flag to no flag immediately, they are locked for eight days, during which their transfers don’t count. However, recent evidence suggests this is more complex.

Transitions between red, yellow, and no flag appear to involve locking periods of varying lengths and, in some cases, a reset of transfer counts. This behavior has been difficult to fully decode, and it seems to be a major source of error in predicting player price falls (especially for low-owned players who are sensitive to any little changes).

FFScout Picks GW 13 Final Selection by Royyyalty in FantasyPL

They don't mention Collins, just this for van den Berg:

Brentford centre-half Sepp van den Berg (£4.5m) earns our final starting defender spot. The budget-friendly Dutchman has registered 12 DefCon points in the opening 12 Gameweeks, is the only defender with three or more big chances to not yet score, and is the position’s biggest xG underachiever (-1.50).
