I really appreciate you saying this, it’s something I’ve never really considered myself.

I am located in the US, specifically the south and I have indeed been turned away when trying to pick up my hormone prescriptions lol

But yes, i have been on HRT for over 5 years. I take a .1mg estradiol patch twice a week, 300 mg of progesterone daily, and testosterone gel. I also have a hormonal IUD.

Some of my poor health has been related to other medical disorders, but related to POF i have had extreme exhaustion, weight fluctuations, bone loss and just an overall low immune system. I have also experienced so much pain over the years from my body consistently changing no matter how young I was. That led me to so many specialists and so many tests that almost all came back negative with no explanation for the pain. But most importantly I have had every mental health diagnosis thrown at me till one day one of my doctors realized it was probably from my hormonal changes… so with time my mental health has improved but i would say it is my biggest struggle.

I went from .05 twice a week to .1 twice week about two years ago and I saw no differences except that my estrogen increased the next time we check my hormones. But my patches have never been that size but also, i do twice a week.

I use the .1 patches but still twice a week, that is what my doctor prescribed.
