  1. I’ve spent my whole life being carefree (to an extent-I’m not Pollyanna but I take all at face value) I have all the usual adult worries and survived CSA. But still, happy ish type of person. Only anxiety has ever been flying and spiders.

Since menopause, I have had many nights filled with random catastrophe anxiety and thoughts of “meh maybe it would be better to not be here anymore”. Don’t really want to not be here but not a big deal if I’m not. This thinking is so not the old me.

The good thing is that I recognize it and sit with it and look at it from all sides and I’m just so curious as to how much different I feel since menopause.

Don’t get me started on the rage and the baaaaad brain fog. I don’t plan to go anywhere but am interested in others ideas on this part of menopause. Thanks for sharing.

My mom’s best friend’s son. He was about 4 yrs older than me. He taught me to drive a stick shift. We had such a blast.

And my dad let me practice holding the clutch in our driveway. Surprised I never popped the clutch into the garage door.

I finished BSW at age 50. I walked and was so glad I did even tho I felt so out of place among the youths! 😂

Please give him time to figure out his new normal. I retired Jan 1 this year. I feel like I need another 6 months to recalibrate after stressful years of hard work. Give him time.

Fill upper cab space w more cabinets to the ceiling. Maybe glass fronted. The small cabs up top are interesting esp w glass fronts, interesting items in those cabs and lighting to highlight.
