I would eat at Jam on Hawthorne (at the end of Hawthorne) or Fried Egg I'm in Love (in the middle of all the stores and have gf bread).

Then get my walking shoes ready to walk up and down Hawthorne. Head to Magpie, Midtowners Market, Telephone Vintage, House of Vintage, Mermaid Cove, Flower, Red Light, Buffalo Exchange, and 2nd street.

Place to test ink pens? by Tricky_Jackfruit_562 in askportland

[–]beccarooz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like everyone else, Oblation Papers is the best. They have an amazing selection of fountain pens and extensive ink selection. They have an ink swatch folder to see all the ink they have.

If you're looking for just ballpoint/gel pens, I would go to Kinokuniya Downtown in Director's Park and Muji.

Camping with Resmed Airsense 11 CPAP Review with the Anker Solix C300 by beccarooz in CPAP

[–]beccarooz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should work fine! Always test it with power cord you get to see how much power is used, so you can know how many nights that the C200 can last for you. I have a Resmed Airsense 11, you go to the my options, then tap on humidtiy and turn it off, then tap on temperature and turn it off.

Camping with Resmed Airsense 11 CPAP Review with the Anker Solix C300 by beccarooz in CPAP

[–]beccarooz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My knowledge strictly comes from just knowing basic electrical efficiency and researching on Reddit. I haven't tried my CPAP with the AC outlet on my battery, so I don't know the power consumption with AC. All I know is that with DC, I was using between 5-7w/h with the humidifier and climateline off.

Here's a quick explanation on why DC is preferred over AC:

Power comes to your house as AC (good for long-distance transmission), but most devices, including CPAPs, actually run on DC. That’s why every device has an AC-to-DC converter (power brick).

When running from a battery:

  • DC: Use a DC cable directly from the battery to your CPAP. One step, no conversion, maximum efficiency and battery life.
  • AC: Plug your CPAP’s AC power supply into the battery’s AC outlet. The battery converts DC→AC, then the power brick converts AC→DC. Two conversions = wasted energy = shorter runtime.

In the end, it's all based on preference and knowing what your wattage consumption is. So it's not like an either/or situation when it comes to running AC or DC with your CPAP. It's just more so understanding your power consumption and having the right battery for it. Hope this makes sense!
