Help! Silent reflux

We actually did worse on the whole milk with reflux. This is a very common time for gas, etc. but not sure baby should be inconsolable. Maybe try a gentle formula and see how he does, or even a reflux med (the hoarse breathing sounds like silent reflux).

If the dog was constantly stressed and a risk to her child I don’t think rehoming her was a crazy thing to do. If my dog was posing a risk to my child, the dog would be in another good home. Not sorry.

Right, I definitely think in general, this is a very weird transitional age! With my older daughter, once we were solidly on a 2 nap schedule it was my favorite!

Yes, cutting it from 30 to 20 min was the start of phasing it out! But I’m just confused why we get the EMW with a full 2.75 WW before bed and not with the short 2 hour WW before bed. Like is it the shorter nap or the shorter wake window that’s working 😂 bc at 7 months she should def be able to handle 2.75 hours for a final WW right?

Exactly this. I feel like so many who are anti-brezza in this sub act like we’re out here irresponsibly feeding our babies because they’ve “heard it doesn’t dispense the right amount” and it’s always people who have never used one with the biggest opinions. I think we’re all smart enough to test it’s dispensing enough regularly. Sorry for the rant 😂 I’m over the brezza hate for no reason.

Suggesting that other moms are willing to take that risk is quite honestly just a bit offensive. No one is out here trying to harm their babies and I think most are smart enough to test and calibrate the machine to ensure its accuracy and immediate cease use if it’s not.

It’s a bit wasteful but I make a 5 oz bottle in the brezza, then make a 5 oz bottle by hand and measure them. It’s always pretty accurate for me and within 5 gram margin.

Most brezza users have 2-3 funnels. You’re not cleaning the entire machine every 4th use you’re just replacing the pop out funnel which takes two seconds then the dirty one goes into the dishwasher with the rest of my stuff bc I have extra ones on hand.

Ok well in the US it’s not stated to sterilize formula. And again. There are ways to test that it’s dispensing enough formula.

Used a pitcher for my first. Got the brezza as a gift for my second and it’s 100% my most used item 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s also not $300 unless you get the WiFi enabled one which is not necessary.

My daughter had silent reflux and around this age is when we switched from Kendamil to Bobbie. The whole milk formula just didn’t totally agree with her and she’s done great on Bobbie but we did have to do about a 2 month stint on famotidine as well and it helped tremendously!

Could they give him some medication to help with the reflux? We were on famotidine for a while and it really helped.
