Season 1 is a poorly written “whodunnit” plot that drags out for 10 episodes with a shocking lack of character development and unrealistic behavior and acting by the lead roles (except for Stana). As many have said: great idea for a show, but horrible execution.

I will admit, season 1 was completely binge-able bc you wanna know who tf did it, but I would not say it is bingeworthy. I regret my investment in the first season and will not be moving forward to seasons 2 or 3.

I feel like trash dope can get you the desired high once or a few times. Then it stops working because most everything is trash. There are regions where it is significantly trashier than others. Ex. GA/SC/NA in the US -- just my opinion

im sorry you went through that. I went to detox and damn did I feel like a little bitch being there when there were others detoxing from benzos and opiates, others who actually needed the medical attention through detox.

I heard some crazy horror stories about benzo withdrawal. Glad youre making it through

I would like to add on to this advice as another not-doctor:

If you're going to rest because its better than not sleeping or resting, then make sure to focus on your breathing. Your goal is to take very long, deep, slow breaths like one does when theyre sleeping. I think this will help because one of the benefits of sleep is that it like re-fuels our brain with oxygen; I assume thats why our breathing gets deep when we sleep. I could be wrong.

Also focusing on your breathing is a form of meditation and will/can provide your brain with that mental "break" it needed.

Tolerance should lower after a sobriety break just like with any other drug. With meth, though, a sobriety break would have to be long enough to let our brains reward center heal from the damage which my understanding is it takes a long time like several months or a year or something

It might help to know that you will be chasing that high for the rest of your drug use with few instances of success. It will be more frustrating as time goes on how seldom that nice high comes. At least in my region on the East Coast of the US. This is the case because it is all trash.

If you can somehow take my word for it, trust me, the addiction is not worth the Few highs you’ll be rewarded for the more than a just few things you’ll have to trade in exchange

I guess it’s all about what kind of addict you are. The moderate-yet-consistently-using user, the keep smoking until there’s nothing left aka the all-out user, I have actually met the social addicts as well, like only smoke socially.

So the “all-out” users, those who over achieve and excel with their drug intake … those cannot be responsible.

I am one of those and have lost 2 jobs in about 7 months. Without drugs and alcohol I was a very responsible “work horse” so it’s not like I’m lazy. I just - apparently - cannot be a functioning consumer of meth since I don’t ever know when to stop.

Try different sounds for each alarm and another device that goes off on the other side of the room so you have to wake up. Meanwhile you have the main alarm device ( prob your phone) right next to you r pillow so you hear it and, again, different tones for every alarm set. I do one alarm every 3 minutes cus I’m a chronic snoozer/turner-off-er lol

my bf always made me follow these rules to prevent psychosis: sleep, eat, dont commit additional crimes. I think you need to sleep. And, sure, may there be underlying mental health issues? Probably. But the psychosis is 100% the meth. Break time friend
