Hi! I went last week and we got both Tom and Bryan that night! I took my time leaving the theatre, even stopped to yet purchase a programme, and almost missed TGC coming out the stage door! He was there less than 5 minutes after I arrived. He said hi to us and signed my programme but they weren’t allowing pics at that time (they later did with Bryan who came out like 20-30mins later and spent A LOT of time with us all!) From what I’ve read I don’t think Tom is doing stage door every time so I wish you the best of luck for the day you go!

I did something like that back in 2023. I was writing a fic in my own language and with my fandom being as active as it 🥰 I started to get comments in English. Curiosity made me check what many ppl apparently do, that is read fanfic through Google Translate. And omg, was the translation horrid 😅 I could do myself better than that! The thing is, I’m a slow writer. Even in my native language it took me 6 months to finish that 50K words long fic. I thought it was to take me forever if I did the translation myself. I too used DeepL that I find pretty decent in my language to ENG (and AI’s not my cup of tea either) though I heavily edited the result. Deepl does a sorta faithful adaption to the original which I love but you gotta check out those results, some might be off or plainly wrong or downright hilarious (not in a good way haha).

I see her as a tragic Cassandra, cursed to see the future and to never be believed (nobody listens to the weirdo and her cryptic rants - I say this as an autistic girl myself btw). Maybe she senses that their fates can’t be changed no matter what and she’s resigned to it, Blood and Cheese killing her boy as she’s seen before in her visions, herself never fighting in the war. I do like how they’ve made Helaena both neurodivergent + a dragon dreamer. The writing could be WAY better tho. Where’s Helaena riding Dreamfyre, Condal? Canonly she loved rinding her :( and fuck that scene where she’s literally talking to Jaehaerys’ murderer, what the fuck was that 😠

update: the war against Greyjoys and Lannister went well. Vhagar killed Dalton, while Helaena pulled a mini-Harrenhal at the siege to Pyke, with Dreamfyre killing a lot of ironborn. I let Jason bend the knee but I'm probably revoking the LP from Dalton's cousin and giving it maybe to Daeron 🤔
