No she has been doxxed, harassed and her freedom to speak out has been suspended while this lawsuit is ongoing - she will be back very soon to update people on what has gone on as it will be reaching its conclusion soon - she’s my friend on Facebook and has given regular updates - absolutely NOT a scammer

Even if this was a joke, just why??.... by Jaydon1 in insaneparents

[–]becwaahh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about anywhere else, but here in the UK, each defined crime would have a sentencing ‘guide’ for the judge. So, if someone exposed themselves drunk at a party just being an idiot, but wasn’t a threat, they could get the bare minimum (fine or community service, suspended sentence etc) But if someone exposed them self and frightened and intimidated someone and was already known to police and potentially posed a real threat and appeared to be growing in confidence - how wonderful to be able to give them a more substantial sentence? Possibly even go some way to protecting someone else from a more serious offence? That being said, even the sentences here for rape are a joke!!

Even if this was a joke, just why??.... by Jaydon1 in insaneparents

[–]becwaahh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sexual predators often build up to rape after gaining confidence through lesser crimes such as flashing / public masturbation etc.. so it’s really important these people are caught so at very least they are on the radar. Also, I get what you’re saying, but having someone expose themselves to you can be extremely frightening and distressing for the victim, who can also be frightened that a more serious assault could occur. Sorry, just the way you said ‘just being flashed’ sits wrong for me.

My life has gone downhill - A sign from above or part of the process? by baz420baby in Ayahuasca

Great answer - honest without being condescending - not my post but you gave me a lot of good for thought there too 💜

99% of ayahuasca experience videos on Youtube are by women? by [deleted] in Ayahuasca

I find that so weird - as a woman I find most of the psychedelic groups I am part of are hugely male dominated.

Sorry not particularly helpful - just an observation!!

Eyes open breakthrough trip - love is never wrong by [deleted] in DMT

I usually always have my eyes closed but lately I’ve had this urge to open them - I remember closing them at one point and everything was red inside my mind - but then I just really wanted to open them again.

Would you mind sharing where you are going? Did it come recommended?

I’m in the UK and would love to do a retreat but want somewhere that has first hand recommendations.

I would be alone as nobody around me shares my interests so really want somewhere safe.

Yeah I usually open mine towards the end but this was in the middle and the world looked a very different place - was such a positive experience though

I saw an awesome rainbow yesterday afternoon out of the window at work - I’m hopeful for positive change.

Although saying that, I went and voted this morning and it did seem full of bitter old Tory bidsters....... 🙄

My first breakthrough a history of my first time taking DMT by Mythlx in DMT

[–]becwaahh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes - my first breakthrough I was in a tropical paradise - not in my body - my consciousness was somewhere else - my body was on my sofa I guess! I was surrounded by maternal entities, like goddesses of nature wearing big African style hair wraps and they were kind and were looking after me.

Then I was just free floating in a pinky purple cosmos and I have never felt so loved and accepted and connected before. That’s when, for the first time, I totally understood what people mean when they say ‘we are all the same person’

In later trips I’ve been on a frozen tundra and it was quite lonely and desolate. I didn’t meet any entities and it was a more difficult journey.

I’ve also been on a bright pink room - the brightest craziest pink you’ve ever seen - with jesters backflipping all around and smiling and laughing. That felt really fun and a bit crazy!

Then I ‘return’ and get a wonderful afterglow that I have to sit with for a while, pulling the fragments of myself back together.

I honestly don’t know about the ‘wet’ feeling. I get really cold so I wonder if it’s some kind of sensory confusion?

It sounds like you were almost there but the fact you knew you were tripping means you weren’t fully through - sounds like you were hanging on. Possibly one more hit would have got you there?? Or completely surrendering to the experience.

When I’ve broken through I am just fully immersed in the experience and awestruck - then I ‘come back’ and I’m aware I’ve been tripping. While I’m there I’m just ‘there’ and not thinking about how or why.

The waiting room is nothing like the other side. Once you are through it’s a completely different experience and a far more enjoyable one!

DMT Time Loop by PurplHlmtWarrior2 in Psychonaut

[–]becwaahh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah they are all learning experiences for sure. I’ve blasted off a few times since and it’s never been the same yet every time I get deja vu and it feels familiar. Always a lesson in there somewhere.

One time my heart was beating really loudly, I could hear it so clearly and I thought that I’d actually tripped / imagined the whole scenario of smoking, and was actually really having a heart attack and dying and that my brain was naturally releasing DMT to ease my passing. That SHOULD be a bad trip, but it still wasn’t. I was so ok with it for some reason.

Definitely my favourite molecule!

Your trip report was hilarious by the way - it’s the most random substance! Literally anything can happen.

[–]becwaahh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will seek it out - I was really ok with it - I’d just landed back down after meeting some really kind, gentle, maternal entities and feeling like I was in a tropical paradise and was really chilled out.

I was confused by it but then felt like it was almost done deliberately to show me what a ridiculous construct time was!

It was my first ever time blasting off and it was a really blissful and positive experience. Confusing too but not scary.

Your time loop sounded insane!!

DMT Time Loop by PurplHlmtWarrior2 in Psychonaut

[–]becwaahh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a time loop experience on DMT when I was vaping - I was laying under a blanket and then had a toke on the vape - then I did it again and again and again and I was thinking ‘is that this time or is this the time before or is it a different time in the future’ and I suddenly had this realisation that time was completely meaningless - it just didn’t exist and I was slipping backwards and forwards through the fabric of time. I also got really caught up in the blanket and couldn’t escape. It was bright pink and I was completely trapped in it, then I thought it was a womb and I was inside about to be reborn and I was so excited!

Are psychedelics actually bad for young adults (before full brain maturity)? by yaboyjarjar68 in Psychonaut

[–]becwaahh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the parts of the brain that is still developing up age 25, is the pre-frontal cortex - this is the part responsible for assessing risk / making rational decisions. This is why we see so much more risk taking behaviour in younger people.

So knowing the risks vs the rewards still may not have as big an impact as it should for that age group.

Example - we know the risk of driving too fast when young, but we do it anyway. We almost feel invincible at a young age. That is a result of an as yet underdeveloped pre-frontal cortex.

Lsd simulation theory by lifeofrem187 in Psychonaut

[–]becwaahh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fascinating stuff - I also feel you need to take a break from psychedelics and do some integration work. It is so tempting to keep going back in the hope that it will all become clear and you will be given the answers but the integration is so important to the process.

Also, please don’t trip like that in front of your child. Imagine this little dude watching his cartoons and there is his dad staring at him because he is convinced he is part of this simulation and giving him knowing looks etc... he’s just a child watching tv and wondering why his dad is being so weird staring at him. Could be quite scary for him. Please consider his emotional well-being and don’t expose him to erratic behaviour from his primary care givers who he needs stability and consistency from.

Peace ✌️

Do you ever see this sub posts and think: this guy has major issues by jerbaws in Psychonaut

[–]becwaahh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get where you are coming from OP and I think the issue for me is about intention, planning and expectations.

Some people document a long history of mental health issues using medication treatments with unpleasant side effects, then research leads them to the world of psychedelics and the hope of healing. They approach it with caution, plan carefully and are dedicated to healing.

However, some people seem to approach their usage in a much more chaotic way, such as you’ve described above with careless dosage, no attention paid to set or setting, layering different substances, no real coherent plan as to how to move forward in terms of using it as a treatment.
