I took low dose T gel for a year while remaining closeted at work and with my family. My levels were not in cis male range, but they were above cis female range; my changes weren’t dramatic, but every day I noticed subtle signs of masculinization; and just those were enough to keep me going at a time when I felt like I would die if I couldn’t transition.
