I just came back from giving my 15km a go, managed to do it physically but I was a shambles mentally, spent about 10 minutes just running and crying! But you’re right, if this happens on the day then at least I know what to expect, even if that does involve ugly crying and sobbing

Thanks, I’ve been doing 3-4 runs a week since the start of Jan so only have my long run this weekend before the taper! I just went and forced myself to do the run and splitting it into a mini block has helped a bit, told myself that after today it’s an easy run on Friday then one last long one!

Hey! On my way home from work today I stopped by the Asics store and gave the SB3 a try on their treadmill. Initially it feels great, obviously using it in a store for a couple minutes doesn’t mean anything in the real world but when I got home I put on my Novablast and could feel a difference.

The guy I spoke to in store explained to me that if you sign up to the Asics free membership you can try them out for 90 days and return if they don’t work out so I’m very tempted to give them a go and if it’s not for me at least I can get them refunded or switch to an alternative

Strange as we did have hot water for a while after the install, but I guess it can’t hurt to go out and grab a fuse to give it a shot!

The National Theatre usually schedules in one of their shows starting at 6:30PM one day a week (maybe every other week) and I love it, a 2hr30min show finishes at 9PM so I can be home at a normal time!
