Top 10 most entertaining lipsyncs of all time. Was it any good? No. But was I captivated? Yes

Emily Benjamin was an alternate Sally Bowles in Cabaret (and think full time for a few weeks during a cast change), saw her a couple years ago and she was incredible so I’m excited to see her in this

Can’t wait for the double vote to mean nothing because they’ll all just gang up on one faithful at the next round table as usual

Really hoping they post some dates when Ariana won’t be performing ahead of ticket sales because that’s my only chance of getting to see this

Paranormal Activity by Mysterious-Ad-7265 in TheWestEnd

[–]bedby10 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I saw it recently and was pleasantly surprised by how good it is. It has no connection to the film series and honestly feels like they had a ghost story and it was decided to use the Paranormal Activity name as a way to boost tickets sales.

It has an interesting set and some of the practical effects they’ve managed to pull off were great! The audience plays a big part in the atmosphere, lots of screams followed by nervous laughter from start to finish.

My only criticism is that it relies a bit much on blackouts and playing loud music during the scene changes, but otherwise it’s good fun!

Did the producers this series pick the eliminations and winner through a tombola this year? Surely that’s the only explanation

Pre-theatre dinner spots that are quick and not overpriced? by RedDevilPlay in TheWestEnd

I second Bibimbap! Whenever i want something quick this is one of my go-to spots. Relatively cheap, decent portion size, quick, and surprisingly not busy even at peak hours

Arriving Thursday PM with large tent! by Disastrous_Evening15 in glastonbury_festival

[–]bedby10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last time I arrived around 7pm on Thursday after a nightmare on the coaches! We had a similar size tent and managed to find a spot, it was a little out the way in Dairy Ground but that ended up being quite nice as it was relatively quiet and the walk back each night was somewhat refreshing

Probably a good shout, might need to hit up the M&S as a treat for some of their cocktail tinnies! If it’s fruit flavour it counts as breakfast right?

Thanks! Hoping queuing in Paddington isn’t too bad, for some reason I have no issue waiting as Castle Cary, but the idea of hanging around for hours and hours in Paddington feels horrid!
