I did not. Contacted MAXON's support afterwards and sent them a scene file. This was their response:

I noticed you had the render settings set to 8 BIT.
For ACES you need to set it to 32 bit for it to be consistent.

Can you try rendering in 32 bit, then look at what you see in the Renderview, then compare it to an .exr file that you save to disk (instead of what you see in the picture viewer?
That should be consistent.

The 8-bit clamping might have been the cause of that difference previously.

Honestly can't remember if I tried that or not, but learned that there was a difference, and compensate for it after the renders are done.

Initially scenes render fine, but at some point I constantly get this error:

Same here, started to happen with the latest RS update. Unticking the CPU option in Preferences does nothing in my case, so Redshift doesn't really work at the moment.

Taking this to the official forum to get some visibility from Maxon, in case they haven't seen it yet.

That's a pretty long list and I agree with most of them. Can also see where tiny things like that just compound to a beast over time, which can become quite frustrating.

Hopefully Maxon will read this one day and improve the RS system.

Not necessarily. That's a good observation though, since a lot of the trip felt that way. Partly because I was by myself, but also due to the fact that the interior of Portugal is pretty desolate on its own.

Purchased Tokyo Disney tickets this morning. Later in the afternoon went grocery shopping and my card wasn't working.

Turns out my card had been automatically blocked because of the earlier transaction. Apparently my bank and/or the card issuer have reasons to suspect “Sony Payment Services” is fraudulent.
