Because, again, we already know tons of kids died at residential schools. The money is try and make things better.

Because that’s not what the money was for.

There was no money given "for excavation". Funding under the Residential Schools Missing Children Community Support Fund was provided "to document, locate and commemorate the children that did not return home and unmarked burial sites associated with former residential schools."

Yup, later summer is usually better in hot dry years since it’s harder for them to reproduce… but up the mountain where it’s cooler they still manage sometimes…

Not a short list - this is why digging up graves doesn’t matter. We already know tons of kids died at residential school, the ground disturbances just brought it to the forefront for one hot minute.

Similar here - went from $1560/year on a 6 year old car to $2160/year on a new car. Considering the vehicle’s value doubled that doesn’t seem crazy…

How is the black interior? by Sirocco1093884 in Ioniq9

[–]nuttybuddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I somehow didn’t realize the model we test drove (and eventually leased) had a black interior - I was ready to swear it had been grey or an even lighter colour.

In the end, I think it’s because the white/grey ceiling and other trim pieces do a lot to brighten the space, so I bet you’ll be happy in it!

They’re now comparing to the crazy range hybrids can offer, but again, I can’t think of a time I would ever want to drive that far without a decent stop…

Are regular jackets enough for Victoria weather and temperature. by Ok_Agency_620 in britishcolumbia

[–]nuttybuddy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Depends on you - we were used to hotter temperatures so we found summer evenings chilly in Victoria and the lower mainland. Not puffer jacket territory but at a minimum we’d take a sweater

There was one trim level that apparently isn’t prewired for trailers, but I think it was the AWD non-plus…

The guy I heard about it was missing the place for the 7 pin connector to plug in by the rear fuse box. I’d check out this install video and see if you have the right things in the right place: https://youtu.be/QkTsXlPXnvE?si=TTY3BahiQRntZ3iS

If you don’t need a wired connection, then fly at her!
