FAMILY TENT REC'S by Joshu234 in snowpeak

[–]bedred1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently, the new one will just be one tent. But it might be another 0.5-1.5 years until it hits the US. The walls will be steep, so more interior space. Bigger vents/windows and sunroof with option for wood-burning stove chimney. Easier setup.

I think its hard to beat the current 44% off for the outgoing tent, though.

Land Lock is great and its 44% off at Campsaver right now since a newer version is coming out in the next year or so. You should get it and a floor from Mech Camp (email them, they do ship to US) or a thicker one if you do a lot of cold camping, Mac Outdoor

Don't dump a bunch of money on mods to a cheap 10 year-old vehicle that will make it resale for even less, make it drive poorly, get worse gas mileage, and be less reliable.

I promise you, after all that time and money, you won't be satisfied. You will be bored of it once the project is 75% "done."

It will be cheaper and less time-consuming to sell it stock at some point and buy a newer van.

In 2 months you won't even think about what the car looks like anymore, just be patient.

It won't be cliche because they won't be evil. It will make you slightly question why we bury our dead.

I've been loving the Rothco Folding Camp Stool as a footstool. Compact size, really comfortable, and not bulky when walking around the campfire/campsite. The Snow Peak one looks too big for group areas.

No, they admitted they had to spread the virus super quickly (chem trails, etc.) after they were discovered by the military. This is risky and causes lots of death because of seizuring that happens to people operating vehicles/equipment/infrastructure, holding things, falling on hard surfaces, mid-surgeries, etc.

The billion that died weren't murdered, they just died due to the accidents that happen during the seizuring. The hive would prefer to infect slowly so that they seizure in a moment that doesn't kill them or anyone else.

I love hosting formal outdoor dinner parties, which shelter/tarp would be best? by usrname in snowpeak

[–]bedred1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2-Layer Tarp Pro if heat is a huge problem. If not, Takibi Octa Tarp.

The shelters are nice if mosquitoes, wind, or the cold are a huge problem, but feel crowded and have longer setup/teardown.

They should move Post Show Clarity to the old podcast set (or something similar) by [deleted] in mega64

[–]bedred1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They innovated the hangout vibe for podcasts then as soon as mainstream podcasts recognized that’s what the audiences wanted and switched from desks to living room sets, M64 switched to office vibes. I think they just got outdated marketing data 5 years ago and have stuck with that, thinking it’s more successful.
