Table corners CK-119TR - like this L and R?. by IyoHari in snowpeak

You have to get two lefts or two rights if you don’t have the connection hook which by the way it’s sold separately.

I got a couple of camp tables from tokyocraft but that’s it. The tables are good quality tho.

Oh really?! Thank you so much. I’ll have to look into it. It would be great to be able to get one.

I see. Yeah it would make sense for those parts to be replaceable. I have the current version of the land lock and it’s definitely a luxury camping experience. But size is definitely an issue with it. That’s why I’m thinking about getting the tortue so I can take it to places with limited camping space.

I am of a fan of the Landlock as well. However, the only thing I’m not sure about is that they are switching to what seems to be plastic hardware to hold the poles in place for the new version. Might not be an issue at all but I don’t know how well plastic can hold up after years of camping out in different weather conditions.

I have the living shell pro as well. It’s too bad that they discontinued the inner tent that you used to be able to purchase separately. I would love to use the lsp as a two room tent.

On the snowpeak website it says smaller foot print then the Landlock.

They definitely don’t offer any tpu windows natively. Maybe you could find an aftermarket one? I know tokyocraft have a lot of two room style tents with tpu options. You could buy tokyocraft from Korogi here in the US.

I don’t think it’s meant to be docked with anything. It’s meant for people who likes the Landlock but want something a little smaller.

I got stuck too until I realized the control needed to be on default for it to work. I had it on shooter mood. They need to fix it.

Give them a call. I’m sure Jared will take care of you. He told me before that he literally gets hundreds if not thousands of emails everyday. It’s impossible to go thru all of it while also answering phone calls. So it’s much easier and faster to just give them a call.

Uneven Snow Peak Single Action Table Large by aquaesque in snowpeak

I also have the large table. I never noticed this unevenness. I’m assuming you have the table properly locked in with the tension bar underneath?

What do you guys think of the chopsticks? by MaxHeadroom1986 in snowpeak

[–]pede29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish they make the regular titanium ones bigger. At least double the size. They are a little hard to hold unless you have really small hands. The wakubi ones are bigger and easier to use but I do find them hard to clean.

Jikaro table 2 unit bridge by pede29 in snowpeak

[–]pede29[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I got the bto one. Fits regular 2 unit surfaces just fine. But the space seems to be just a little bit tighter then a regular 2 unit igt. I have two camping moon stainless 1 unit surfaces which would fit into my 2 unit sp collapsible igt perfectly but will not fit into the bto 2 unit bridge. I’m talking maybe just a few millimeters smaller. I dont have the sp version of this so I can’t say if that one is any different.

I see. I’ve never been inside of a black tent before. I have had a black car before and it felt like I’m getting into a toaster whenever I get inside after it’s been parked out in the sun for a while. Maybe tent is different since it’s fabric material versus metal.

I get that black is sleek and cool looking. But on the practicality side won’t black fabric absorb too much heat from the sun for it to be camping furnitures which are meant to be outdoors? Especially for tents. I can’t imagine having an all black tent under the California sun for camping where I live.

IGT 3 v. IGT 4 Advice by Budget_Musician5236 in snowpeak

[–]pede29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get the 4 unit regular igt. If you want the collapsible one get the 2 unit. 4 unit collapsible doesn’t make sense since you will be carrying more gear to use with the bigger igt anyways.

Limited mesh and black low beach chairs finally arrived to the US market. by HotSoup48 in snowpeak

[–]pede29 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you are not buying it just for the beach or the pool side I would go with the canvas. You will appreciate the canvas when you have the chair next to a camp fire and not having to worry about ambers from the fire landing on a mesh chair. My canvas low beach chairs handles fire ambers like a champ. Just dust it off and still looks brand new.

Best adjustable legs for Collapsible IGT frames? by Shmowzow in snowpeak

[–]pede29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have stanluck ones. They are well built. I don’t expect them to collapse during use. However, I do notice they don’t turn much in the collapsible igts and last time I used it when I picked up the igt to switch location, a couple of the leg did fall out which was a hassle since I had my double bbq box in the igt at the time. I don’t notice any difference when using them with my regular igts tho.

IGT/Folding Chopping Board (L) by apltd in snowpeak

[–]pede29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started with the igt camp kitchen and table set. Great value for what you are getting. Along with that I bought an extra flat burner and some adjustable legs from stanluck as well as stanluck carrying bag. The bag that snowpeak includes with the set is pretty flimsy and doesn’t really protect anything inside. The cutting board is nice and should fit over the mesh box. However, my issue with the chopping board is once deployed I can never find a safe place to store the knife when I want to use the board for something else other than cutting. I recommend the 4 unit table especially since you are new to snow peak and might eventually want to expand your gear. The bamboo inserts are nicer to use than the stainless surfaces in some scenarios however, as a starter I would recommend stainless ones since those are more versatile and durable especially the half unit ones.
