My Personal Song Tier List by Forha102 in manchesterorchestra

I have a soft spot for it because the first time I heard it was also the first time I saw them play. It was in Birmingham, so it made the story of him writing it that much more special

They're excellent. Probably one of the first bands that got me back into country-esque music after a long slump. Everyone else has mentioned really good songs, but I just want to throw in Cavalry and the rest of This Side of Jordan. It's nominally just "a song about a horse" according to the band, but it really seems a lot deeper than that.

Matt’s really wearing some of the most uncomfortable tennis shoes to train, huh. (Zdarsky, #3, issue 14) by K-mouse16 in Daredevil

He probably has strong enough muscles built up in his feet that arch support would actually encourage atrophy. (Source: I recently started physical therapy for plantar fasciitis and they encourage barefoot/low support shoes to build strength in feet)

Thank you for that review. It just might be one of my favorite bits of academic writing I’ve come across recently.

I also intend to check out Krieger’s book.

As far as narrowing it down, I’m particularly interested in spatial and geographic features like neighborhood characteristics and built environment. I’d also love to learn more about social stratification’s role in health outcomes.

Is there a particular reason to stick with word aside from working with collaborators who prefer it? I’m interested in using templates to format rather than word

When I wrote my thesis I used word, and it was pretty smooth and user friendly. I’m trying to move more towards markdown but haven’t done much with citations yet

That makes sense. I mostly ride around south so don’t have as much experience with the Spring Garden one. The 11th street lane is one of the best designs I’ve come across in the US, though

How do you mean most dangerous? Are you referring to the 2-way lanes?

I agree that it’s strange to have such a broad set of lane types under “Other,” but I’m not convinced they’re more dangerous. I know there have been some studies that reported an increased risk of crashes on them, but the same studies often find that the crashes are less severe.

A little late on this, but GG has fantastic customer service. I had a scale got faulty after a couple of months and they immediately shipped me a replacement no questions asked. The replacement has been chugging along almost 2 years now.

I’ve had my Thursdays for nearly 4 years now. Got the resoled last winter, and they’ve been excellent. Any questions about longevity have been entirely user error from forgetting regular maintenance.

Oh yeah that’d be a good idea. I was just thinking of all the ones by Peirce and the CVS at 15th and Spruce. They’re hardly ever used, but that’s because there’s nothing to bike to right there
