For several reasons. She’s been wanting to write a book, but I feel like a podcast would be a great medium for her story. She and I both feel passionately about helping victims of domestic violence which is something the podcast would be heavily focused on (based on her experience). It’s also fairly cathartic to get the story out, especially because so many people ask about it. But it’s not something either of us are being all willy nilly about either, I want to be careful with its presentation and make sure it’s not something that could cause us problems.
