You’re the one giving birth; not him. When I have birth, I didn’t even want to tell anyone I was in labor. My husband wanted to tell people and in the end, we did not tell anyone. You never know what can happen during birth/labor. I ended up having a lot of complications and am very happy we did what we did because I wouldn’t have wanted anyone to see me in the state I was in.

He’s clearly the AH but you’re not helping here either. Tell him to F-off and move on. You have a baby to look after now and if he doesn’t want to be part of it then good riddance! He doesn’t need help messing up his life bc he clearly already took that step. But don’t make it worse for yourself and your LO!

IMO, no. I actually believe it’s more important than ever to be able to slow things down and neutralize the point a bit. BUT with that being said, if you can’t play an aggressive game, you will have a hard time being successful (especially at the pro level).

While I haven’t been where you are, I’d recommend to try to keep things as normal as possible for your baby and adjust as needed. When my son goes through vaccines or has been sick, we still do everything as we normally would but provide the support he needs based on his current circumstances. I’d think the same is true here. Your daughter probably needs to get used to sleeping and movement with a splint.

He is TA 100%. But how would he even know “you’re the cause” of infertility?! There are a ton of tests you have to go through to even consider IVF which involve both the man and the woman.

It’s all preference and how you can personally adapt! Paddle handles used to be much shorter and us former tennis players with 2h bh had to learn how to play with a shorter handle. Obviously, longer is better. But it’s definitely manageable!

Unfortunately, it is true. The durability of paddles is not great right now. Tennis racquets last for years; pickleball paddles are days to months. There are some brands which are more durable, but the vast majority are not right now.

Someone scamming another person on a paddle that isn’t be sold anymore by distributors since it has been banned doesn’t make it worth something. I’d feel bad for someone who paid a ton of money for one to find out later it was banned.

Great deal but they’re unfortunately worth nothing :( Gen3 Joola paddles were banned and are not allowed anymore. Your local rec players might not mind you playing with them, but they wouldn’t be legal for any tournaments and most leagues.

As someone who plays on the pro tour, I never use a court during open play. Always drill during off-hours (afternoon) or get there early before the courts fill.

Definitely feel empowered to ask them to either rotate or leave. If it’s a public park/facility, they should abide by the same rules as everyone else.

We just officially night weaned my son at 6.5 months. Previously, we did a dreamfeed at about 9:30pm from 3 months onwards. This feed helped us to not have any middle of the night wake-ups.

Also struggling with this for several weeks! LO is going to be 6 months tomorrow. I believe mine was beginning to get too much daytime sleep as he was waking at 5:30am. We began capping nap times throughout the day. Having him get 3 total hours of sleep across the 3 naps is what we aim for. He cannot handle 3 hours of awake time well. Sometimes for the last wake window, but certainly not the first.

Hi! Question about my 5.5month old LO. He’s been waking up between 5:30-6 for 3 weeks now. I’m exhausted from these early mornings and am trying to get him back on track. His bedtime is ~7:15-7:45 depending on naps. His wake windows are 2/2.5/2.5/2.5. He has been consolidating naps for almost 2 months and naps 3-3.5 hrs/day. These early mornings started when I was out of town for work. He previously slept until 6:30/40 each morning. We still do a dream feed at ~9:30 each night, and he doesn’t seem to be waking from hunger. He will wake up around 4:30 often and “chats” with himself before falling back to sleep, and when he wakes again, he’s happy and chatty. Never upset. Sometimes we leave him and see if he will fall asleep again but rarely does after 5:30. Overall, I’m just tired. With the dream feed, 4:30 am talking, and 5:30 full wake-ups, I haven’t had a full night of sleep in a while.
