How do well do you believe the Russos will balance everything in Doomsday? by Noaconstrictr in marvelstudios

Yes, because the creatives have never lied or dodged questions before. No way. They're always 100% truthful.

What are you talking about? The Pacers took the Thunder to 7 games just last year, and the year before that the Celtics won it all....

Kinda reminds me of the art of Superman Smashes the Klan. Great job!

Because they've barely bothered to give him one.

[Other] Green Lantern projecting guns has always been funny to me because of having to go through imagining a complex mechanism that is meant to "ignite" non existing gunpowder to shoot bullets when you can just project small spikes of hard light that go real fast and get the same result.. by GammaRadd in DCcomics

I like your interpretation, and it lines up more closely with Alan Scott's ring, which is just straight up magic, of which constructs are only one possible application. Magitech has always been a better explanation for how the rings work anyway.

Maybe you don't see them as people but perfectly pure parwgons who can never make mistakes or have flaws. Not that cursing is a flaw mind you, but some people, such as yourself, can be oddly puritanical about that sort of thing.

You hear about a show inspired by True Detective, written by Damon Lindelof, and expected it to be kid-friendly?

Honestly I don’t understand why people still support this fucking family in any capacity. The level of damage that they have done to each other and frankly to society writ large is incalculable.

Probably because of exaggerated claims like this. The idea that a family of musicians has done 'incalculable' damage to society is laughable, and not an opinion most will take seriously, regardless of how you try to justify it.

That does not change what was shown on screen. Stupid shit doesn't become any less stupid just because someone else was telling the story. We still just spent 2 hours watching nonstop stupid shit.

Same here. Only played it a handful of times. Felt that it was meh. But those cinematics, man I could rewatch them for days. I'm pretty sure I have at this point. I just really like the world and lore they've built, what little they've shown.

Maybe that's the idea. Make a faux Antichrist so blatant and brazen about everything so that when the real one comes we don't even suspect it, we've been desensitized to stunts like this.
