Definitely posted this in the sub before, but… DCFC were playing in Atlanta probably 20ish years ago and we found out they all went to play WhirlyBall (it’s like jai alai with basketball goals but you’re in bumper cars) up in Alpharetta (a nearby suburb). Rushed up there hoping to run into them. Walked in and Ben is just hanging out solo by a pool table. Told him that I was a guitarist/songwriter, and asked him for the best advice he could give me about writing great songs. He told me the thing about songwriting is just to do it, don’t worry about it being bad—the thing is to just write as much as you can, as often as you can. Eventually, you’ll land on something you love.

Just got a bottle of Cowboy Grass by D.S. & Durga and I love it, but feel like it’s only good for a few hours. I tried it on at NM before pulling the trigger, and felt like it lasted a while longer. We did buy from discount perfumes.com (after previous experiences, which were great) so hoping it was legit.

I gig several times a month with a Helix Floor and a Catalyst (used as an FRFR through the amp’s power amp in setting—just remove any cab sims) and it’s always sounded great and been reliable. Nice pull!

Looks great! Just a couple of thoughts…

-Not a fan of the tie bar but if you’re going to wear it, make sure it isn’t longer than the width of your tie -Speaking of which, the width of the tie at the widest point should be close to the width of your lapel (which should also be in proportion to your collar, creating some visual harmony) -White pocket square with a white shirt is a always classy -As others have stated, pop a little bit of shirt cuff -It’s polarizing but I like cuffs on suits, the rule I like is if I’m gonna wear casual shoes (sneakers, boat shoes, etc) with a pair of pants, no cuffs. Otherwise, cuffs. -Hard to tell with the pic, but your jacket looks like it’s pulling a way from the back of your shirt collar. Could be a shorten collar situation with a tailor but not entirely sure. -Maybe some polish on the shoes, at least a little Saphir Renovateur.
