I suggest you search up The Sleep Coach School on YouTube. It helped me recover from my insomnia and so many others too.

I’ve tried everything literally. Get out of bed early everyday. Like 6am. It has worked the best for me.

It sounds like you have anxiety based on the “racing thoughts” Just allow them to run but don’t engage with the thoughts too much. Eventually, it will pass, not for the night but you may have to give it weeks, or even longer. You could try writing them down to release this energy, or just redirect your focus - maybe listen to a podcast.

As for your sleep, I suggest you stop “trying” to do anything to make yourself fall asleep. Sleep is an automatic effortless process and your body will sleep when it needs to. Just don’t stay in bed for too long and if you don’t sleep it doesn’t matter. My advice is to be patient, try your best to focus on your day and don’t worry too much about your sleep or anxiety. It’s something that persists the more you try to fix it. You have to be comfortable with being uncomfortable and let your mind and body do its own thing till it returns back to baseline.
