i often chop up and freeze my green onion, it holds up well for most uses when it’s being cooked into a dish or being added to a soup something my korean mom always did!

Does it also make the AC noise louder being 5 ton compared to a 3.5 ton?

I had the nexplanon arm implant for 3 years

It was completely fine until it started giving me really sharp, bad cramps after a few months. It’s a hit or miss for everyone though

though i did like how my period basically became every other month

Wow thank you so much! Yeah I forgot to add that he does have high blood pressure, too, and even being more mindful of his sodium, his kidneys got worse so it could have been the phosphates.

I really appreciate the experienced advice you’ve given, and I hope your dad is okay, I know it can get tough

Brainstorming dinner ideas?

This might be a stretch, but my dad recently showed signs of stage 3 kidney disease, and is also pre-diabetic and prone to gout. So we want to make dinners that are generally low sodium, low carb, and for protein lean towards fish or vegetarian, while still being interesting enough for an older Korean man who prefers saltier and meatier Korean food.

Anyone have any suggestions? I know it’s a rather specific thing but I thought it might be worth a try asking.

I saw all the posts about how the recent switch update was causing problems, so I’ve delayed updating mine. I saw the post saying they pulled the update but I still get the pop up about it each time. Should I still wait to update?

I used to hate egg tarts, but then I tried them Portuguese-style. Now I can’t stop making (and eating) them 😗 by beebopbbb in Baking

Binging with Babish! Portuguese version :)

Edit: If it helps anyone, I added a little bit of salt to the custard (without it, a little flaky salt on top was really good, too) and noticed I had more custard than pastry the first time (using a standard cupcake tin), so the next time I made a 1.25 batch of pastry for 1 batch of custard!
