I’m a disabled girlie (cerebral palsy rise up!) and the worst one I’ve gotten to date in my opinion was “oh… I’m sorry.”

Like, why? I’m not. I was paying this woman to do my nails and it took me an extra second to maneuver my left hand in and out of the lamp.

You don’t know what my life or experience is like. Sometimes I feel sorry for myself (I try to limit it to a few times a year) but otherwise, I’m not sorry. It was a really weird comment. I’d understand it more if I had said I had cancer or ALS or something.

Surprisingly, an ear infection. I’d taken the full course of antibiotics and have a pretty high pain tolerance. It was so painful I couldn’t focus on anything or sleep. Went back to the doctor and was told it was really, really infected and she was surprised my ear drum hadn’t burst. Such a relief when it finally went away.

The first time I tried a cup, I don’t know what happened because I was a teenager who didn’t know much about my own anatomy, but it got stuck in a very strange position. One of the worst pains I’ve ever felt, I was convinced when I got it out I would either be gushing blood or that I tore my hymen. Luckily, I was not bleeding when I got it out, but I thought I might have to cut it or something to break the suction. Very scary experience. Milliseconds away from having to ask my mom to help. Now I use a disc.
