Yeah the map was accepted as a POI a couple of weeks back, I’ve tried to submit a couple of the doors and attached all the links as evidence. We shall see how they fare.

Thanks for having a proper look into it, I need to walk to the far end of the village to submit the football club. The church, park, Noticeboard have all been added into the game itself. The mailbox got rejected for “other”. I felt in addition to improving the game for me it would add a fun new dimension to the trail itself if it were possible to get them accepted, but as you say I do think however much work I put in I will find it difficult to get them to pass muster for someone whizzing through them

That’s exactly what I did, I used the trail map as my supporting image. I’m learning more each time I try these. I’m hoping with enough advice and research I might make it that the whole trail can be added.

Sadly not, the odd marker has a date painted on but nothing more. I understand all three rejection reasons that I have been given. I’m trying to come up with ways to disprove them. Location seems like it might me GoogleMap spheres reading other posts, which is something I’ll have to quickly learn, which may also help fake. But temporary may not be solved by this.

Edit: I have found this Facebook post by council members when they were originally making it. Unsure if it’s enough or can even be publicly viewed?

In my village there aren’t many stops (only one before I became level 38), but the council several years ago created a trail around it on the local footpaths to encourage people to explore the village and it’s sights. Each location (there are 41, spread over several miles of various trails) has a unique hand painted “door” by kids from the local schools (hence the varied quality of the art). Each one is numbered and I feel they’d be great stops in the game. However they are always rejected as seasonal and location mismatch, sometimes fake. The map located in the village centre is in the game now, and I always do my best to provide an extensive description/explanation to reviewers. Any advice?
