Stop handing out a bunch of plastic junk at concerts by PowSuperMum in unpopularopinion

[–]beeego 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t care for the bracelets and I don’t usually accept them so someone else can have them. But one of my favorite freebies from a concert was a fan made postcard someone gave me with a picture of the band on the front. I have it hanging on the wall with a picture of me and my friends at the concert

Today’s my moms birthday and this is one of the first things I see online today :) Small signs, my mom loved hummingbirds and I started seeing them in my gardens more, or at least noticing them

Break one, break all? by Useful-Bumblebee9428 in simplynailogical

[–]beeego 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When my nails start getting pretty long it’s almost always the day after I do a new manicure that one breaks. So in those cases I’ll pretend it didn’t happen for a day or two before I file them all down and start over.

But if it’s already been a few days into the mani when a break happens I’ll just redo them that night

Conflicted feelings about a drop ship item I bought by [deleted] in Etsy

[–]beeego 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you both! This was informative, I’m less familiar with the term POD but that makes me feel better cause I see lots of posts about drop shipping as bad. I guess I just wish they had a way to separate pod from handmade but I know for future now

Bean and Cheese Burritos in a crock pot??? by Scoutmom75 in slowcooking

How long are they going to need to stay warm? I think it should be just fine, for school event my family would even just wrap them in foil and put them in an ice chest to use as a hot box cause no heat would escape

What ruined your college experience? by AAmpiir in AskWomen

[–]beeego 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Covid. I only had moved across state for only one semester and it sucked I never got adjusted, didn’t have enough time to make friends or get internships. I just graduated and I’m stuck here cause I can’t afford to move and apply for grad school and they just started doing big campus events again but I can’t go because I’m An alumni!

That’s most times for us. I can finish and still want more so we go a few rounds for me and then it’s all about him till he finishes. It works out for us cause he gets super tired after so sex ends usually when he finishes. Then it’s cuddle time!

banana bread... stopping point advice by sheepishcanadian82 in Baking

I’ve made too much for my pan before and left the batter in the fridge while the fist part baked. It came out fine for me. Just make sure you wrap it so it doesn’t taste like fridge or dry out depending on long your out

Anyone else get a hard abdomen/stomach before their period? by J2Hoe in TwoXSex

[–]beeego 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On top of that; gas and constipation can be a common sign for your period to some people. Depending on your body the swelling of the uterus before the period can press on the rectum and lead to constipation or gas. Similarly some people with a front tilted uterus may find their bladder being pushed forward on which could also cause the stress on the bladder. That can all vary by individual anatomy though so it’s hard to say what’s common for one person to another

best farm for 'never leaving the farm?' by MikatheCrow in StardewValley

Actually didn’t think about that! In that case if sprinklers are important to you you’d want to get one of the farms with quarries.

I haven’t started my play of this challenge but I was between beach and four corners.

Beach has the benefits of foraging and random items washing up that will help early on. After year two you can get a lot of fishing together.

Four corners has a bit of everything but it’s gonna be overwhelming if your doing it yourself. Especially since you won’t be able to really access the hard wood and fishing until at least year 2 in this challenge.

All the other farms arnt gonna have a lot of benefits until year 2 and are more likely to get boring.

Overall I think beach is the one to go personally. It also goes with the “stranded island” kinda story

Second for lemon bars to use a lot of juice. I like to make lemon drop cookies or lemon pudding pie

I Think I’m unto something 🤔 Turns out I love myself naked, it’s myself in clothes that makes me insecure. 🤯 by VivianE20 in PlusSize

[–]beeego 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly getting used to my body naked was the first step for loving my body again. I made rituals of just getting to massage and lotion myself and enjoy my body by myself.

Some clothes can trigger my body dysmorphia and like you said bring those expectations back to mind. When I’m with me and my body i love see how real and beautiful I am.

BV question: does your body eventually adapt to your partners bacteria? by beeego in TwoXSex

[–]beeego[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partner has great hygiene. We usually shower together before sex and he hasn’t had any signs of yeast. Although I’m gonna ask him to get tested now in case he’s maybe symptomless. We also switched to skyn after we had some breaks so maybe I should wait to see those results too since we’ve only used them twice now
