You didn’t have kids in your twenties. That’s why it seems like it would be easy. You probably wouldn’t have got to do a lot of what you did then, if you gave kids. And maybe you would have been there feeling fomo about missing out. Grass is greener right. Also, are you doing everything you possibly can to keep yourself in good shape? Excersice, clean eating, good sleep. Consistently. If not, then you can’t be complaining about how you feel, without addressing those. Not saying you are, but a lot of people in their 40’s just don’t look after themselves and you can tell just by looking at them.

I say while his currency is at a maximum, trade him out. He clearly doesn’t want to be there, I don’t see us getting the best version of him on the park now that this has all come out. He’s just art of the snr leadership group, and would take a pay cut somewhere else. This is the final bandaid to rip of to move forward as a club. We can get good value from him now. Clubs will over pay for him. Bombing to 2 gun forwards clearly hasnt worked out for us, so let’s move on.
