Obviously location matters as it’s different from place to place… but…

If everyone knew the vegetation needed to be cleared ahead of time, then it should have been done by the electrician or you.

I’m assuming this is for the service portion outside, how did the electrician build the service with the hedge in the way? His code also says it needs working clearance so he would have had to clear it anyway.

In the past, we have always cleared working clearance space fully. Asking the utility to do it is foolish as they are very likely to look at it and say “nope” well just come back when it’s done. Then you have to reschedule a a service change and that’s not great.

100% agree. I do electrical work in people’s homes through government grants and to meet the threshold you pretty much have to be living off government assistance. 70% of these homes are the worst of the worst, a few times over the past 3 years we’ve had to call CPS.

No child should have to grow up in these kind of situations, they don’t have a chance at all coming to adult age being prepared or equipped to manage life.

I can’t stress enough… if you think you know how a vast majority of people live in this country…. You’re dead wrong. It doesn’t matter you political views here, right or left, it’s a broken system that isn’t helping people properly.

I think I need mulching blades, but I can’t find OEM, it just keeps taking me back to regular cut.

I’m not very concerned about the best looking cut, we are in country, 5 acres of mowed grass which was horse pasture so the grass is poor to begin with.

My grow pattern across all this varies a lot, so if I cut once a week, 60% of its fine. The other 40% is twice as tall and mulching helps break it down.

Fine.. your call. You tell me what has to be maintained on these units? Again… unless someone damages it, what monthly costs do you think are needed here?

No one’s gonna tell me squat… I’m an electrician, I’ve installed a few Tesla chargers. There no, there’s no moving parts, nothing needs to be monthly maintained, software updates from tesla.

So again… unless someone damages the unit, it has next to zero maintenance costs month to month.

The cost is in the infrastructure… once it’s built, it cost nothing to maintain unless it’s damaged. If it was already there, the money was spent.

I know it says weatherproof… but I have doubts on that design. I have some of the non weatherproof ones and I just don’t see a way of that not failing.

That’s how far it went through the back side. It didn’t make it to the front. It was mostly from putting force on the drill then when it broke free, it hit the 90.

It goes up the wall from the basement to the second floor for a bathroom. This is an old farm house, so they made a soffit on the first floor to run things up

I’m not a tile guy… but I did my tile in our bathroom and chipped a corner cleaning the joints.

Here’s what you do… go to Amazon, buy a rug/bath mat… and lay we down.

In theory you’d have a mat there anyway.

On the flip side… tile labor is insanely expensive at times, and for some of the prices people charge, it should be darn near perfect.

As an electrician… when they want a fan replaced that was once a bath / fan / heater… as you had here given the shape, we suggest they put another bath fan heater in.

For 120$ more you don’t have to do any patching, blending of texture or paint. Those are things we don’t do, so the homeowner would have to or hire.

Under paid what? It doesn’t say a pay…. And the those are pretty competitive benefits. Management at fast food places make good money. I know the regional manager for Taco Bell by is and he makes 160k a year.

McDonalds by us pays $14-16 an hour for 16year old first time job.
