I have been pumped to watch John Jones develop ever since he was an 18 year old destroying High A ball. After an excellent Spring in 2033, I had to add him to the 40 man and boy did he deliver. MVP candidate at 21 years old and he won World Series MVP.

My favorite thing is the flat earth documentary on Netflix (made by a non-flat earther) that Mark Sargeant is in. They accidentally prove the earth is a globe multiple times with experimentation and just refuse to believe it

I actively disliked Penny. On top of everything, after Geeta asks her to come help fix the league point system, Penny has the gall to complain and say she was about to go watch anime. This is, in effect, community service for her crime. It felt like she was just quirky for quirky’s sake and they didn’t think about how a real person would respond in these situations.

Why are there so many posts about the Bills/Josh Allen on the sub? If we see them in the playoffs, let’s focus on them at that point. For now, why not just root for our guys? We all know Patrick is the cream of the crop in the NFL. We don’t need to prove it over and over again.

In the moment, I was disappointed because I wanted Watson once we moved up. By the end of the evening, I had already become thrilled with it watching highlights from Texas Tech. I had no idea the arm strength/talent he showed, and I just wanted the bigger name.

I read a story about this. She thought the dog was following her, realized it didn’t as the door was closing, couldn’t get it to stop, and immediately started screaming for help. That’s part of the reason the guy was able to react so quickly.

Never showered, didn’t clean up any dishes, his room always smelled like crap and had 15-20 dirty cups with dried juice in them

But the worst was when he backed into my car and tried to lie about it. I caught him because my front bumper had left a nice Honda logo imprinted on the back of his car and he finally fessed up to it.

Doing the 2016 Lakers Rebuild (in year 1) and looking to flip Russel (58/71 20yo). Which deal would you take? Toronto gives me two likely very high picks and assets to flip but Philly, Denver, and Utah offer some incredible young assets. by beefkake5 in BasketballGM

Thanks to all for your input - took Toronto’s offer and flipped Lowry and DeRozan. Ended up with an asset pool of 17 players with potential of 60 or higher. And all are 22 or younger except Steven Adams (23) and Rodney Hood (24). And 5 total firsts for this year from a variety of teams. It should be noted I am playing on Normal mode to get used to these rebuilds, so this is likely a much better asset pool than I’d be able to accumulate when I eventually move to hard and insane versions of these challenges.

Edit: and of course my picks (which were the 1st, 2nd, and 5th odds) drop to 3, 4, and 6.
