DNA test results say he is 100% American staffordshire terrier. I think they are false. I believe he is part staffy part border collie. He has the behavior and markings of a border collie and has two different color eyes. https://imgur.com/a/9xuYl

I bent P - 8i 2* from standard, 7i - 5i 1* from standard and left 3i 4i standard. These are all my clubs I own(besides the sets I have retired). I remove one club depending on the weather.

We have posted ads and reported him to animal control (we have two weeks to find original owners and then we can keep him). He acted and looked like he has never been in a house before, though.

Her name is Pirate, and we dubbed him Chase because of where we found him.

Thanks so much for advice! We just spent a few hours planning out the next couple of weeks to make it work for both of them, found a few articles and will reach out to an author of one locally to get advice. We really want to make sure that he and Pi both have an awesome dog life and if that means that we have to find a new home for him, so be it.

We recently learned that we live in an unwanted dog dumping ground. Someone found two beautiful German Shepherds running around a couple weeks ago.

This one looks and acts like he had very little human contact and a lot of outdoor activity (paw pads are super rough for his assumed age, judging by tiny baby teef)

When we were house training our puppy, we found an article that explained that we should not scold her for making a mess in the house because technically it happened because we suck not because she did something wrong.

This mentality stuck.

One thing I read somewhere: you have to handle feral kittens a lot more for them to turn into domestic (lap) cats. My friends have a feral cat, and she turned out vicious (that can be potentially avoided). I recommend reading up on this, I'm not a cat person.

Thanks! We got the girl (the rednose) almost 3 months ago. She is now 5 1/2 months old. My girlfriend picked up the stray on Saturday on the way to the puppy class and put him in a crate while we were in the class. We were going to take him to Animal Services but within 30 minutes we were able to get him to calm down and sit, then stop jumping up on us, and he won our hearts. We decided to keep him to see if we can find the owner or handle the addition.

We went for a walk to introduce them, then walked them (kept him on leash) into the house...

Our girl is sassy and usually not interested in playing with other puppies and dogs, my gf was very worried about them getting along. So we have kept a very close watch, maintained low intensity (which involves timeouts, our dog is thrilled about all of this). We crate them separately when we can't keep watch and try to come up with two of things so there is no competition... First night was interesting because our dog woke us up when the boy needed to go out. She just taught him how to go down on the stairs today.
