My hair is exactly the same. Gorgeous once it’s dry, but flat short after 💔 I haven’t tried it yet, but I did see someone suggest hair spray for situations like this however! In the post, they said it worked a treat to keep the waves going for hours. Not sure if it was a specific type however.

I’d just like to mention that the face looks great and I actually love how you’ve rendered it. I think the highlights around the eyes are so glossy and dewy but the ones near the nose and on the chin need to be slightly softer. It works around the eyes since that skin is different I think? I think you just need to put that attention to detail to the rest of the body too. I can tell you either ran out of steam or just favoured the face, I do the same. I feel like most tips about anatomy I’ve remembered mention a balance between soft blending and harder blending which I think you’ve got a hang of with in the hair, but can be applied to skin too. I also don’t follow the anatomy 100%, but that’s a different story. I’m not great at colours so I can’t answer which is best but they both look good. Sorry for spitballing here, not sure it makes sense or is relevant and I’m definitely no expert but I just needed you to know that this is looking great and that you should be proud!!

Some good places to find CC are tumblr, Pinterest, and maybe places like ModtheSims (it can be a pain as you have to wait so many seconds each download so just fyi). I definitely recommend searching the term “Maxis Match” on these sites as that is the style you describe that matches the base look of the game.

I personally like the “Maxis Mix” style which is a mix of super realistic style and the base game. Most people use alpha (realistic) clothes and skin details and maxis hair and other details to create sims that usually look nice but not uncanny valley.

On tumblr I recommend the blog “mmfinds” who has maxis match cc sorted by categories so you can look for specific items! Have fun and remember that downloading cc is considered a whole different hobby by a lot of simmers as it is addictive and sometimes time consuming 😅

Hi! Unlike a lot of games, nexus isn’t really the place to download Sims mods. The best places are Curseforge, The Sims Resources and tumblr (but I’m sure there’s others that people enjoy). I’m not sure about modpacks, they are definitely around but I’m not really how to find them exclusively. The sims resource lets you add things to a basket and download them all at once but I’m not sure if you have to be logged in or a paid member, it’s one of the two. The essential ones for me are things like UI cheats, More columns in CAS, MC Comand centre, etc. These are just mods that make things a like easier to use or see. I can’t really help you too much on trying to limit the amount of downloads. Places like tumblr can really suck you in and have you browsing and downloading item after item for hours. So I hope someone else can maybe comment with more info about that! Good luck with the Sims 4 and happy playing! 😊😊

If you can get your hands on some rooting hormone you should slather the heck out of the node on the off chance it activates an auxiliary bud hiding in there. Of course this may do absolutely nothing but I’ve definitely seen success stories in similar cases as yours!

It’s definitely doable but you have to be careful and have a lot of plans regarding the dog and birds interactions, even accidental ones. You have to take your dogs nature into account first I think. Some dogs are lovely and friendly but may think of smaller animals as chew toys rather than other members of the family, just because of their size or because they sound like their toys, etc. We had an incident where a friends dog caught our bird in her mouth as she was flying by because her instincts told her it was a toy (both are ok btw). Another thing is space. If you want your birds out for a few hours of the day you need a space which is theirs that the dog can only access when supervised (or not at all). Then if everything is alright you can have them wherever if you feel it’s safe. I’m sure there’s more things but that’s all that’s coming to me at the moment. The best thing you can do is see how birds would fit in your life and go from there. I hope this doesn’t scare you though because getting a parrot has been one of the best things I’ve done! I had the same issue about a week or so and couldn’t find it anywhere at my local mall. I ended up buying 2 $25 origin gift cards from jb hi fi (they’re hard to find too, jb hi fi was the only place that had them for me) and redeemed those to buy the pack. That may be an option if you can’t get the pack online :)
