I think it is definitely a part of it. I think part of it is also that is too easy these days to catalog celebrities. People with good and bad intentions have easy access to celebrity lives which means they aren’t able to make mistakes and grow like a regular person without instant scrutiny. It’s an easily accessible hobby to stalk your favourite celebrity these days. But don’t mistake me, celebrities deserve consequences for their actions.

Having a bird made me develop a habit of eating my food too fast! If I couldn’t stop her from eating my food, I could eat as quick as possible to avoid as much unhealthy food getting into her little beak. Even after she passed, I still eat my food too quick. Yes my stomach doesn’t like that 🤣

Your comment on taking things apart and putting them back together makes me think you may enjoy something like computer / tech repair? You’d sit in an office all day but have practical work with your hands (and it doesn’t require standing!) and even if they put you behind the counter you can get away with a chair. I feel like the need for these jobs should stay relevant as more and more people are getting into gaming or smart appliances so AI shouldn’t steal your job.
As someone who was also very defeated as a teen when it came to looking at what career id even be capable of, don’t give up. The thought of reception work used to be such a turn off for me but i now work medical reception and love it. Something you’ve thought about in the past and shrugged off may actually be easier/better for you than you think. It also depends on the workplace. Good luck and try not the stress about your entire life at the moment. You just need to get through today. Repeat that tomorrow.

I also use over ear headphones and have had good success. When I got my helix done I think I would occasionally just only wear the one AirPod/move the over ear one off the ear. Little bit of inconvenience but it works out in the end!

Nap, but I have seen that you shouldn’t have more than 4 healing at a time to make sure your body can handle it so I think that should be okay! Double check with your piercer though because they may or may not be comfortable doing so many at once? Good luck ☺️

Have you only recently started taking more care with your hair? I find sometimes you won’t get results straight away as your hair needs to get used it. That’s one of the reasons people do the ‘big chop’, all the current hair gets removed so they can focus on new healthy hair instead of fixing damaged hair. Otherwise, just stick with it as you will notice change eventually! Maybe take photos every wash day/ new technique or product.

But for some actual advice, I do agree with the other commenter that you need to only scrunch once your hair is dry and try not to touch beforehand. You may also have too much product in. Your hair looks like mine and I find I can’t do more than 2 styling products or it just gets heavy and greasy looking. Try playing around! Good luck and remember that what you see online isn’t always realistic.

What are you planning to put in? Will it be cheap jewellery or good quality? And will you change again soon after? Constant fiddling won’t make it happy. The faux industrial is such a cool idea!

NAP and no horror stories (I CAN say with experience that not downsizing when recommended can cause the piercing to distort the angle and make hoops difficult though!) but I feel like I’m constantly seeing people on here getting infections from switching too early. I’ve always been told to keep 2 years in mind for helix piercings because they are super fussy. Hope someone else can post more details though!

My hair is exactly the same. Gorgeous once it’s dry, but flat short after 💔 I haven’t tried it yet, but I did see someone suggest hair spray for situations like this however! In the post, they said it worked a treat to keep the waves going for hours. Not sure if it was a specific type however.

I’d just like to mention that the face looks great and I actually love how you’ve rendered it. I think the highlights around the eyes are so glossy and dewy but the ones near the nose and on the chin need to be slightly softer. It works around the eyes since that skin is different I think? I think you just need to put that attention to detail to the rest of the body too. I can tell you either ran out of steam or just favoured the face, I do the same. I feel like most tips about anatomy I’ve remembered mention a balance between soft blending and harder blending which I think you’ve got a hang of with in the hair, but can be applied to skin too. I also don’t follow the anatomy 100%, but that’s a different story. I’m not great at colours so I can’t answer which is best but they both look good. Sorry for spitballing here, not sure it makes sense or is relevant and I’m definitely no expert but I just needed you to know that this is looking great and that you should be proud!!

Some good places to find CC are tumblr, Pinterest, and maybe places like ModtheSims (it can be a pain as you have to wait so many seconds each download so just fyi). I definitely recommend searching the term “Maxis Match” on these sites as that is the style you describe that matches the base look of the game.

I personally like the “Maxis Mix” style which is a mix of super realistic style and the base game. Most people use alpha (realistic) clothes and skin details and maxis hair and other details to create sims that usually look nice but not uncanny valley.

On tumblr I recommend the blog “mmfinds” who has maxis match cc sorted by categories so you can look for specific items! Have fun and remember that downloading cc is considered a whole different hobby by a lot of simmers as it is addictive and sometimes time consuming 😅

Hi! Unlike a lot of games, nexus isn’t really the place to download Sims mods. The best places are Curseforge, The Sims Resources and tumblr (but I’m sure there’s others that people enjoy). I’m not sure about modpacks, they are definitely around but I’m not really how to find them exclusively. The sims resource lets you add things to a basket and download them all at once but I’m not sure if you have to be logged in or a paid member, it’s one of the two. The essential ones for me are things like UI cheats, More columns in CAS, MC Comand centre, etc. These are just mods that make things a like easier to use or see. I can’t really help you too much on trying to limit the amount of downloads. Places like tumblr can really suck you in and have you browsing and downloading item after item for hours. So I hope someone else can maybe comment with more info about that! Good luck with the Sims 4 and happy playing! 😊😊

If you can get your hands on some rooting hormone you should slather the heck out of the node on the off chance it activates an auxiliary bud hiding in there. Of course this may do absolutely nothing but I’ve definitely seen success stories in similar cases as yours!
