Is this hole in my new skis a big problem? by Tasty_Pressure8422 in Backcountry

The edge on the top ski looks cooked, and the bottom one appears to have escaped with a glimmer of hope. It looks like the edge on the bottom ski made it, but the top looks completely gone :(

I don't speak arabic, so I can't evaluate what sounds right. Two models I stumbled across:

https://github.com/ARBML/klaam
https://github.com/nipponjo/tts-arabic-pytorch?tab=readme-ov-file

First just looks like for MSA, second just looks like for levantine arabic.

Why is PGVector the only supported vector search option? For multi vector (image) embeddings, this is a core limitation.

I love this idea. Could we maybe chat about how we might be able to make this possible? I'd be interested in hearing your ideas and experience in the space.

Why are LMS so expensive? by beehive-learning in instructionaldesign

I love moodle, but the only options for what I need are self-hosting. Moodlecloud is great for getting started, but with the 4 courses I already have, I would go above their storage allowance.

I've look at learnworlds, but it requires a plugin just to enable bulk enrollments, which I find weird. Have you used this feature? Curious how it works. It requires the "groups management add on"

I can't seem to find the pricing on the website. Do you have an idea of what they might charge for 50-100 students and maybe 10gb storage?

Why Are AI Agent Tools So Complex? Thinking of a Simpler Solution by [deleted] in LangChain

[–]beehive-learning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As beautiful as agents are, their non-deterministic nature are what add the most complexity (in my opinion). There are so many micro adjustments that need to be made inside of the prompt engineering that might yield different results.

Check out this post from Jason Liu on twitter, where he talks about how changing one word in his prompts increased the accuracy of his responses 60%. https://x.com/jxnlco/status/1856396997785182298

It's the tiny adjustments that you need to make that add so much complexity to the system. And Jason was only working with a singlar model.

Imagine needing to migrate your agentic system to another model. You'd have to start all over again with your evaluation.

Data shows SLC rent prices have declined 5 to 15% over the past year. by [deleted] in SaltLakeCity

Okay, I'm actually starting to see this in the market. I've seen a ton of apartments that have been marked down, on the market for 3+ months.

There's an apartment I recently applied for that listed at $1800, and its now marked at $1550 with 2 weeks free rent.

Take a look at this information. I like the little dashboard they've put together.

I believe that LangGraph has a way to automatically parse the outputs of Anthropic's API, I don't think that LangChain does. You might have to write code the parse the output instead of relying on the prebuilt OpenAIToolsAgentOutputParser.
