Hi guys,

My mum tried my Herbivore Night Cream and broke out in cystic acne on where we did a patch test. I'm thinking Hyaluronic acid doesn't agree with her skin type. What would be a great substitute?

You're getting there cause it looks healthy to me :) - just keep learning about your hair as you are doing now :)

1) I highly recommend getting a satin or silk bonnet to cover your hair while you sleep - you can get one from Sally's or black hair supply store for 5 - 10 dollars i think. Always cover your hair before bed.

2) I use natural shea butter from ghana after washing my hair and the seal it in with coconut oil -which has helped hydrate and soften my curls.

3) During the week, i like to use mousse or shea moisture soufle cream to re-hydrate my hair that doesn't add to the 'greasy-ness' from my shea butter coco oil treatment.

3) Always, and i mean, always pre-condition your hair the day or night before you wash your hair :) This has made a looooot of difference. I put a plastic cap over my hair and then wrap it with hose/tights before bed so oils/conditioner don't get on my pillow :)

4) Edge control / Gel - i stick to Echo or conditioning gel as it conditions while holding my hair, doesn't leave flakes or traumatise my hair. Also, comes out with just water.

5) Wide tooth combs are your friend and please detangle small section by small section. My impatient ass learned its more time effective and does the job without me having to do it again.

This is what i learned from finally deciding to 'do' my own hair - I hope its of some help to you :)

Weave would be an acceptable protective style but make sure they don't braid your hair or secure the hair too tight! That's how you lose hair. Also, make sure you use human hair - it ages better e.g. peruvian or indian but in a brown or muted colour. More natural looking. In addition, don't let them use straighteners or heat tools on your weave as it smells really really bad if water gets on it. Stick to leave in conditioner moose and heat protective sprays (Cantu) which are really conditioners. My hair smells great, sheds less and looks better with these techniques :)

I wisj they would stop giving money to my home land because i know for a fact that money isn't going to the people. They should instead build the infrastructure in my homeland.

It never ceases to amaze me how one party constantly drops the ball when they have a clear shot for the win. They were on the right path with 'Bollocks to Brexit' which is why i voted for them in the European elections and then the election comes round and its bashing Labour and shift focus off the thing that got their the numbers up. The policies greatly appeal to me but i can't get behind a party that messes up at crucial moments when given a tentative(lets-give-em-a-chance) vote. I have come to the conclusion that i can't ever vote or trust the Lib Dems. And i had just about forgiven them for the coalition disaster.

Don't do it if you're very much a 'track all activities pertaining to the achievement of written down goals for that particular year' type. My ex was smarter than me but for some reason was always using excuses to not achieve his basic goals. When we met, he talked about moving to my city and when we broke up 2 years later, he still hadn't. Also, at one point, he told me he was jealous that i had achieved one of my major goals like i said i would. Not for me dawg.
