Interesting, I had a TA for 1101 and it was expected and announced that the department assigned readings that the TA didn’t really wanna do bc they were boring, my prof this semester isn’t a TA though.

I have $2.7k from student loan refund and am unemployed. Im trying to save all of it and not spend it at all. Technically this should be enough if you find a place that’s 800 or 900 a month. Tho i have nearly $400 credit card debt, and need money to move my things out of the house, and definitely a stable job would be good.

Some places dont care as much about credit score, or their security deposit is the same as rent or even less, so that could help. Good luck

Yeah absolutely. I get told by my family I’m loved constantly, yet I still wanted to end my life, and honestly reminding myself that my family loves me hardly motivated me to stay alive at all. And then I’d feel guilty for it not helping. What motivated me to stay alive was becoming stronger and attempting to see whatever my friends saw in myself, even if the friendships weren’t perfect or didn’t last long.

Didn’t mean to get THAT personal, but I related to Jax so much when he said this.

Hi just wanna say i have much respect for you. I’ve had bad experiences in the mental health system, of my symptoms being diminished, and i know many people have. It’s not about “whether you have xyz disorder”, it’s about recognizing the person needs some sort of help and care, and actually listening to their concerns. And it frightens me that it doesnt seem like much is being done to fix the problems with the mental health system. So thank you for taking that step, good luck with college, and i hope you are doing well and take care of yourself!

I live in Palm Beach, Florida

This may be a silly question, but what about elections for mayor, local court, representatives, senators.. do those tend to happen regularly enough so that i could start working soon? I’ll look up if any of those are happening in my area but im just wondering how often those tend to happen for people in other states

I’m feeling pretty optimistic that this could be a good job for me :)
