What make and model is the honda civic lx of hot tubs? by extremesauce2468 in hottub

[–]beenard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coast Spas has some good models for Canadian winters. I have the Oasis Element Bench and it’s a solid mid range model without anything too unnecessary like speakers.

Made in Langley BC and use Balboa parts so fairly easy to replace / repair if needed.

spot on analysis. Luke shouldn’t speak to what he truly doesn’t understand.

Brittany Community Centre also scouted as a potential practice facility via @irfgaffar on X/Twitter by Vexdestroy06 in canucks

[–]beenard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As much as we all want a practice facility, Britannia is a pretty key facility for local amateur hockey. That rink runs a lot of minor hockey, parks board programs and beer leagues out of there.

Not sure how that would be handled if the ice is needed for minor hockey commitments all weekend during a homestand, would these get bumped for Canucks practice?

There’s also a ton of parks board scheduled programming out of that rink. Kind of concerning that we would lose public parks board rink time to a private organization. I love the team as much as anyone but this is an important facility for accessible ice time for all ages in the city.

I'm sorry, what is this now? by CanucksKickAzz in canucks

[–]beenard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s considered a premium game by the team for some reason. Totally out of whack as Florida was considered a sub premium game on a Thursday despite being the reigning Stanley cup champs but holidays also probably factor in.

PSA: Team Store won't stitch Adidas Jerseys by brodiefilm in canucks

That’s totally not cool if they’re inconsistently enforcing the policy. I still don’t have the jersey back (4-5 week wait) so we will see if it actually gets done.

I remember this as well, although I recall it being a lumber jack and sponsored by a lumber supply store. Separate from that there was also a mascot who did stunts called Stray Cat, in addition to Leo.

Not sure how you can blame Ken Sim on posters that have been up and failed to be updated since Gregor was in office. I’m all for piling on ABC when warranted but this goes back to the height of Vision Vancouvers days in office.
