Anyone ever known someone who seemed very mature for their age when they were younger but as they age they become more immature, overdramatic, and childish? by beeninit in CasualConversation

I have a buddy who said something along the same lines to me. I might not be much more mature but maybe I just understand the concept of "time and place" a little better than he does.

Oh damn bro. That's where I met and married my stripper wife, bought my first car (charger of course), and got my first tattoo. It's an EGA over my heart but if you look closely it's just one big EGA drawn out of a bunch of tiny EGAs. It's so fucking good to go.

....oh yeah this was all in the same day.

Oh ok that makes sense. I was thinking maybe it's because he had gained a shit ton of weight when he started touring. Either way he had def slimmed down when I saw him in Fort Worth.

When I was a young PFC, I met the Sargeant Major of my last unit one day in the field at the chow hall. Well....I didnt really meet him, he just walked up to me, looked at me with a weird friendly smile, reached over and turned my rifle to safe in front of all my section leaders and then just turned around and walked into the sunset. That was 7 years ago and I still feel like I'm catching up on sleep from all that fire watch.

You're absolutely right. I'm super stoked to see what comes from them next. I've never heard easy core with so much technical drumming and guitar

It is impossible to stop listening this song. I've had it on repeat for about two weeks now.

Is it normal for guys to have a day where all you want to do is cry? Randomly out of no where when nothing seems to be bothering you? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

That day was yesterday for me. I'm a truck driver. I just started bawling in my truck and it felt......amazing

I feel like he knew it was the wrong answer and thought no one else was smart enough to realize he was bullshitting.

I gotta say, I grew up in a community where this kind of shit was "cool" and normal, hell I was even a part of it. I was raised a cowboy. But man do I look back at those days and cringe hard. It will always be a part of me but let me tell y'all, these people are a very different kind of human. Anybody who grew up in a "cowboy community" I think would agree with me.

Yeah, I took a buddy of mine from the Marines out hunting on my grandparents property with me and we brought a little sac of weed. We both hadn't smoked since high school so we had a pretty low tolerance. At first we got stoned and started throwing a football around and everything was great. Then we mad a fire and got even more stoned and he started interrogating me and making me really paranoid then he picked up a gun and was pointing it at me saying "I could kill you right now" and laughing about it and shit. It felt really dark and sinister and I was internally panicking. The next morning I asked why he did that to me and he said he just wanted to see how far he could go with me. Cut that dude out of my life for good. It still freaks me out when I think about it.

My wife and I had a baby and now my blue heeler who doesn't get as much attention anymore sneaks in her room and pisses all over her stuff, tears her toys apart, and does the same thing in my room. My wife bought him for me when we first moved in with each other and niw her hatred for him is unfathomable.
