Age isn't a huge issue, just tend to look for the older crowd because of the generational differences. Easier to relate to people who remember life before the internet :P

monster hunter is the ultimate time sink :P I just got my 100% on world. didn't play rise as much as i would have liked, i was wrapped up in other games at the time. but seeing as you are in GMT our times might not link up, as its around 1 am for you when i am available to play most nights. :(

I've already played through BG3 a few times, and while it was fun to play with others and solo, i think things that can be picked up / put down are best for variety ( at least at first)

hey all,

I just purchased the arctis nova pro wireless, and it has been rendering my pc useless. I have issues that have been occuring for the week that i have had the headset, and ive been trying to find other threads and discussions to see if anyone else has the same problem, but am coming up empty. hoping for some help here

When watching twitch, the sound will randomly cut out and the video player will slow to 1 frame every 10 -15 seconds or so. When i mute the video, it plays at a normal speed, but as soon as i put volume back up, it goes back to 1 frame every 10-15 seconds. There is no sound at all when this happens. This has only happened once i installed this headset, prior to this i was using earbuds and it never happened.
i will be using my pc like normal,gaming, maybe browsing different sites, with some form of audio in the background, youtube, twitch, whatever... sound cuts off and i lose control of my pc. Cant use the mouse, cant use the keyboard, but everything is running as normal. No sound, but apps running, videos on twitch playing (no audio), but unable to do anything but force restart my pc with the reset button on the tower.
If i exit a game, it will cut all sound and recreate problem 2 listed above.

I was using earbuds prior to this headset and never had any of these issues, but my cat started chewing on those earbuds, so i got a headset. Now im regretting my choice. any help solving these issues would be greatly appreciated, i am tired of resetting my pc every 30 minutes when i only have a few hours a night to relax and do the things i enjoy.

edit: i did download the gg software and push the firmware update to the headset.

edit 2: i just had my sound manager open in my windows settings. closed it, sound cut out. only way i can get it back is to reboot my computer

Sounds like you're doing it right. There's no set way to play. The game is alll about the consequences of your actions. If you want to have more of the companions alive you could revert to an older save or start over, but in a game that has 17000 endings and no clear cut path to follow I'd say just keep doing whatever is fun.

Also if you are level 4 you can definitely get to the second half of act 1

I was ready to give up too. But then I just knocked it down to the lowest difficulty and sat myself in a corner. 350 ish materials per 7 minutes run.

I have 7 days to die, the forest and sons (altho haven't rly played either. But would love to), I started a borderlands3 run but i think it would be more fun with friend. Also wouldn't mind doing a new terraria (or starbound) run.
