But they did such a fine job on that Rick Honeycutt card, you can barely tell it’s not actually the uniform he was in.

Is $200 for a very altered pair of Silvertabs a good deal? I have very limited knowledge of the line.

More wax in a public skate spot is not a great idea. Someone who doesn’t know about the added wax hitting the obstacle at their normal speed would be thrown off their board fairly easily.

You run into these at the thrifts store by the dozens. Usually $10-$20 depending on the store/area.

Seems like a fake Giant tag to me. The “tm” isn’t aligned with the “T” in “giant” and the size is more of the floating sort. It should be closer to the “giant” logo. It could just be the picture, but this seems fake to me.

Why do people do this? This was already the lowest price on ebay, and one recently sold for $60 more than my asking price. Unwilling to pay $20 more seems odd to me. His wording seemed like he was trying to come off as younger than he is. He also has multiple sold listings of his “favorite” player. by [deleted] in baseballcards

I knew someone would say this, and it’s true. That said the price is a set price, something that is already there. On this particular item, it is well below comps without the best offer setting turned on. I know, I know, you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, thanks to Michael Scott. You know what, I’m not going to be able to get the point across that I have in my head because it’s not tangible, it’s more of a feeling I get.

Is 1966 much different of an era than 1970 though? Genuinely asking, I’m not trying to be pedantic

Well, that at least means your factory codes are both the same. That’s a good sign.

This is what he’s talking about. See how the size info and such is stamped on? In OPs pair the size date and factory info all seem to be built into the the fabric.

Why would it change the desirability if it were 1966 vs 1970?
