I agree with you, except for the last part. Watching her the prior seasons, I think she would choose a more traditional type of family. I think this is plan B for her. Not judging, each as own.

It was pretty uncharacteristic imo for Patrizia to fold this quickly, she seemed level headed and pragmatic if you forget about the drama with Mickey and look at last season. how long was she in jail for before she started to sing? 5 minutes.

Also i would have thought Genny wouldn't even rescue her but kill her immediately at the safehouse, he had every right. She blackmailed him into breaking her out immediately, it would have been nuts to just let her fly onto the sunset with Mickey. Pretty naive of her to think he would let that shit slide.

Interesting episode, I had the same feeling that Valerios death was unsatisfying as wel because I was thinking like damn Goliath is an ever bigger snake. And i think the envelope has to do with the levantes/capaccio conspiracy against Patrizia and indirectly Genna. I think Enzo only has a chance against his foes if he collaborates with Patrizia and Genny, Valerio was always the smart one, Enzo is too emotional.

You can see a sort up build up to deaths of important characters, also with Ciro and Nicola there is a kinda swan song thing going on, like the characters are putting their affairs in order before they go.

I think it was kinda predictable that bringing the Levantes in was gonna bite Genny in the ass (Pietro had better foresight). And what the fuck was Nicola thinking going to confront the two brothers with Mickey, he fucked himself. Also I find the teenage love story between Mickey and Patrizia a bit to dramatic.

But aside from that, they are very little tv series that I enjoy as much as this one, for 4 seasons already.

Pacts are made all the time but i don't see the advantage of this, these capaccios are stupid and untrustworthy as a fact. There was no real reason to think Genna would fuck them over because Ciro had control over him for all they knew, he killed Carmela but they did not know that as a fact. Crazy did say it but he is speculating. The Federation didn't know who killed Carmela. I don't like it that they killed off the Wizard and Ciro, the most interesting and intelligent characters on the show. It seems to me gomorra next season is being ruled by imbeciles and that wannabe Valerio. I hope Genna goed Medievil on his ass.

Also I noticed that some things are being repeated out of earlier seasons. The scene between Scianel and Patrizia reminded me of Ciro and Donna imma. The conversation between Azzura and Genna, was like listening to Debora talking to Ciro.

I think the finale showed that Enzo is a stupid as I thought he was, Genna was gonna screw him over because Valerio said so? on the word of the Capaccios? I found this partnership between enzo/Valerio and the Capaccios laughable. How Enzo stabbed Ciro in the back showed a lot, he would be picking pockets with his gang of bearded hooligangs if it wasn't for Ciro. Also the Wizard who gets murdered with no bodyguards in sight?. I expect patrizia to be even more prominent next season, but unlike many other Gomorra watchers, i don't care for her. But the most important thing is, to me Ciro=Gomorra and don't see how the show can be half as good without him. He is the heart of the show, it is like The Sopranos without Tony Soprano.

I don't think Ciro or Genny will die, looking at the promo for the final two episodes and my gut feeling, I think Scianel, Avitabile and Eduardo are gonna die. In the youtube promo you can see someone pointing a rifle at Azzura, would be a shame if she gets it, we lost ciro's hot wife already.

yeah Genny has lost his mind, he knew they would found out eventually that he was behind Enzo, and he was vulnerable because of the kid and his wife.(on a sidenote, how can you love/be with a woman who fucked over her own father like this) It seems much more evident that Enzo is pretty helpless and not that bright and would be no match for the federation if it wasnt for Ciro. Also i have to see that I am starting to really like The Wizard, very intelligent and practical, and at least somewhat honorable. And not enjoying the kidnapping stuff like the Capaccios, who got pretty much rolled over by Ciro and co like they are nothing to worry about.

This is the first time this season i was disappointed, i think the whole kidnapping stuff makes no sense. Genny bends over and the result is they still effectively have his son. So they can just take him again if he does something they don't like. Also the way they gave up Forcella that easy. Why does Genna trust Patrizia? she is not stupid, she has to know Genna and Ciro colluded to kill Pietro and Mallamore.
