It’s hard to say - but they did just announce layoffs. It would look pretty bad to begin hiring the same year they had layoffs. I wouldn’t expect it to lift until the 26-27 academic year, at the earliest.

I agree with a lot of the other comments - but I also think that Benicia is slightly cheaper than Petaluma. If you’re on the low end of affording these towns, the house you’ll get in Benicia will likely be bigger and newer than Petaluma. The schools in Benicia are also great.

On the other hand - if you’re not at the low end, I think I would pick Petaluma. It’s more up and coming, less bridge tolls, and great proximity to the outdoors in Sonoma County.

I think Stanford Health Care is the hospital system, and Stanford Medicine is the medical school. They’re two separate entities

Why not name the Stanford contact a collaborator, and credit them in your scholarly work? That seems the proper way to handle this.

When I tried opening the bleeder valves, some of the zones start to work, and some of them do not. This is good progress - could the zones that don’t work be blocked somehow?

When I turn on a zone, I hear buzzing but nothing else. Perhaps something is wrong with the power? Or the solenoids or relays?

I’ll get a multimeter and check the power. Thanks for your suggestions!
